I saw a story like this, but it happened in Britain. A total stranger walked up to a woman on the street and threw a really powerful acid on her face and ran away ... five years later and multiple surgeries and she still wasn't right.

I hope it's not true also but when I first posted on the 4th it was just a weird feeling I got. I remember a few years back some guy in Vancouver walked up and just hit some random guy with a baseball bat. Neighbors from all over knew who that was, the person had been walking around threatening people for months.

This attack is just kind of off. KGW last night said the police have gotten more tips from around the nation then they have from the Vancouver area and they have no solid leads from the tips.
