I know full well, and the living in the house thing sucks. My stepmom is vietnamese. But a lot of the asian kids ive grown up with (for whatever reason i hung out with a ton of hmong, laotian, korean and filipino kids growing up) have cool as shit parents that dont make them stay at home and have become americanized slowly. Idk, i guess ive never really noticed the america not taking asians seriously thing. I see parents that care (even if its a little too much at times), that ball out as a family, and seem close most of the time (i know they like to keep their drama behind closed doors).

Again, 90% of the time id be white in america. I just see some things i admire in other cultures. I know too many white families whose parents literally dont give a shit about their kids.

We tried in the 60's and I have married two women in my life from different cultures...Hispanic and Asian...my kids don't really have a racial thing at all...I haven't encountered much of that tension over the last couple of decades but it's apparent here...on the net, that it is alive.
