No, not at all. My worst fear going into the last game of the season was that we'd have to play the Rockets. Then we got home court and I'm thinking maybe it'll be ok.

But it wasn't. Saturday's loss was just about the most demoralizing loss I can remember. I knew it would be a tough matchup. But I didn't think they would mop the floor with us like that. At home. So depressing.

We'll win tomorrow though. We have to! I posted all those tickets and would hate to only use two of them!!

The way they matured in front of our eyes game by game. They way they finished the season strong. Winning 54 games. Handing the Lakers their ass in the RG. Getting HCA. At different times, they've had their faults as a team and as individuals, but in the end they produced results.

Playoffs: Whether you’ve lost game one b/c of one missed free throw (like Boston) or whether you got blown-out and disgraced on your home court (like Portland), the series is still gonna be 0-1 after one. The real question is the: how do we respond? If we get blow-out again... forget it, series over. However, if we come back and play Blazers ball, the basketball we've come accustomed to all year, then Houston's gonna be demoralized. If we come out and show Houston who we really are, then Houston will come to realize that this team will not go down without a fight!

The loss was heartbreaking for me, I just went to sleep for a long time right after the game. Horrible feeling after waiting 6 years to see that. I too didn't want to see anything basketball related for about a day. But I'm anxious and excited for Game 2, I want some fucking REVENGE.

Exactly. All I really want is a great effort by the Blazers. I want them to fight and scrap and give as well as they get. I want to know that we can play with these Rockets--and I want the Rockets to know that.
