Frys has a Toshiba 1080p, 240hz 42" LCD for $799 on Monday. Price match + 10% of difference to Sears comes out to about $750.

Anyone have any opinions on this set? My fam is looking for an LCD as well.

I try to stay away from Fry's. Its like an Anti-costco to me. Poor customer service, and they stock the returns back on the floor!

My wife got banned from the Dollar Store for doing what she saw me do at Frys.

We went there and spent a couple hundred bucks on stuff for Christmas, and then on the way out they herd you down the hallway like cattle and then want to search you on the way out. I fucking hate that and went off on the guy who wanted me to let him search my back and show him my receipt. I told him I'd just spent a couple hundred bucks at his store and didn't feel like being frisked on the way to my car, and walked on out. She liked that cause it pisses her off too.

So she goes to the Dollar Store at Lloyd Center, and I've never heard of them doing this shit at Dollar Stores, but I guess they get a lot of shoplifters at that one. So she is on her way out, really only a few feet from the register and they want to go through her bag. She told them no, that they could fucking arrest her if they wanted and then they'd get a chance to talk to her lawyer. Then they told her to go ahead and leave but not come back.

All her friends told her they would have shown the receipt....but she agrees with me, that its bullshit to treat a customer like a fucking thief.

I agree. The people who work at Fry's seem to have a little bit of an a-hole personality. I always feel like I'm being watched as if I'm going to jack something from there. Lame.

that's because they get treated like that by their supervisors and rightfully so sometimes. they get paid minimum wage +commision

I got a 46'' Vizio for our bedroom and I'm happy with it. Picture probably isnt as good as the more expensive TV's, but its definitly good enough for me considering I only watch it for an hour or so before I crash for the night.

Sad thing is that is the most exciting thing to happen in your bedroom! Trust me, she talks.
