I'm glad you brought him up Ron, I too would like to see this kid get a shot. I've been very impressed with him & I truly think he's earned it.

Agree on Solarte and the kid outfielder Ramon Flores looks like your basic natural born hitter - he has been sent directly to AAA. I would be surprised if he doesn't see daylight with the Yankees sooner than later.

It's still "only" spring training, but Flores recently hit a rocket off the glove of Braves' 1b Freeman who had to eventually leave the game with some sort of thumb contusion.
The Braves' pitcher was Teheran, one of the better ones.
