If ya need an example, last night three different GS guards were wide open for three's all night long! Not one Blazer was even in the same zip code of the players they were defending. That's coaching!

How many teams have run layup conventions in our paint this year uncontested? This team doesn't play team defense and that's a fact! Wallace and Mathews play good man defense but that was their gig long before they were Blazers!

Don't confuse coaching with raw talent of our players! Nate has made a career hiding behind that mirage!

A loss to them in Oakland is much more likely than a loss to them in Portland, but we let it happen. We have no slack in our schedule and we just gave up a huge one last night.

I think it's a pretty safe bet to say a road loss is more likely than a home loss against any team in the league.

We let them play great. We let them play unfettered on offense and didn't make them work on defense. The bottom line was we thought we could just show up and beat them, and we got embarrassed.

Now I've read that we let them get to the basket too easy and that we played them soft by going under the screens. I tend to agree with you Shooter, I think GS speed gave us problems and once they started hitting shots and we had to come out on them, the driving lanes we wide open.

If their speed gives you problems then you bump and grind them to slow them down. You don't let them run free and get open looks at the hoop.
