Really sucks. Last House On The Left truly honestly scared the shit out of me. I thought, "Human beings are truly capable of this madness."

If you were to recommend one film of his to watch, which would it be? I've never been a huge horror fan so I haven't really watched his movies, although I'm sure I've caught bits and pieces on TV when I was younger. I have seen the remakes of Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes, should I go for the original of one of those?
