Well that was a slow and steady bleed. And the Rockets may be one of the few teams that have had similar luck with players like Yao, Francis and McGrady.
I would just like to wish the Rockets the best of luck in the next round....
No, I hate their fans because they are easily one of the biggest flopping teams in the league, and yet their fans actually blame their loss on the refs. I've never seen anything like it. A huge part of their game plan is to work the refs, but it's like their fans don't realize what's going on. They're completely oblivious to how Harden games the refs. It's so annoying. They legitimately think that the Blazers won because of superstar calls. They have the best shooting guard and the best center in the league, and we won because of superstar calls? It just pisses me off.
I wasn't going to post anymore this year because I'm going to let you guys enjoy your victory...but I have to say something.
Lin fans aren't Rocket fans. They are just Lin fans. They don't care about the team at all, they only care about Lin. They always throw players like Harden under the bus (because they believe Harden is in the way of Lin's progress) and they think Lin is the best PG in the league. I remember a Lin fan arguing that he was better than John Wall a year ago. You'll find a lot of that if you dig through posts.
I just had to clear that up, because there are A LOT of Lin fans there and it remains to be seen if they will continue to be Rocket fans when Lin is gone from the team.
Thanks for posting that. I hadn't realized he had such a weird cult following. I would find that kind of a fanbase annoying if it were on my team. I remember some years ago we had this guy who was fanatical about Shareef Abdur Rahim. Playmaker was a nice guy and pretty interesting, but the arguments just got weird whenever people pointed out how worthless he was on our roster. I can't imagine having 10 or 20 such posters on our forum. Ugh.
I said in another thread, but I would like to formally thank the entire Rockets team for preparing the Blazers for a deep playoff run. This Blazers team is now better and better prepared for the playoffs thanks to this series. After these hard fought games, I fear no other team in the league.
Thank you.

LOL. Love the guy talking about getting jobbed.
Because the refs didn't gift the ball back to the Rox at the end (by calling Lillard out when he clearly wasn't)?
That entire place is a hot mess
RE the article posted above: The writer thinks that, other than the Pacers, the Rockets' loss to Portland is the most disappointing (read: underachieving) performance of the playoffs? That is nothing but a lack of respect. It is saying the that Blazers had no business beating Houston, and that the Blazers did not in fact beat Houston, Houston beat themselves. Because, you know, Houston is so superior that it should have been no contest. If only Houston hadn't underachieved. Against the crappy Blazers. If this assertion were true, it would be one thing. But I'm pretty sure the two teams had identical records. It was an even matchup, as proven by the scores of every single game. This assertion is nothing but sour grapes, and it not only diminishes and insults the Blazers, it diminishes and insults the Rockets. Honestly, every fan on this site gives both the Rockets and the Blazers more credit than that ignorant writer.
This one takes the cake:
"The Blazers are a bunch of floppers."

The audacity with Haren on their roster.
