He just won another european cup which far exceeded expectation for his team. The Knicks are supposedly interested but he said in an interview there are other teams interested as well.
Being Israeli I had a chance to closely monitor his career and I think it would be an excellent move. Despite his subpar season with the Lebron Cavs (although he was fired when they were 1st in the east) I think that coaching a real team in need of a real coach he can do a much better job, also better than Stotts' with all due respect. He's simply a great basketball mind, a great decision maker and an all around great coach.
Also: although he had most of his success as an Israeli coach and in Europe, he's American born and raised and can't do a worse job than Stotts' in adapting to the leaguge, managing Egos, etc,
