I always laugh when fans complain about the divisional series start times, unless you're the Yankees/Red Sox, then you aren't getting the prime time east coast start and if not Dodgers than not getting the prime time west coast start. Imagine being the two teams that played in the World Series last year and still getting those early start times!

I could see where you're coming from but that honestly isn't laughable to complain about that.

These are the playoffs. All the games should have some shine. Have them be offset. Meaning have 2 today 2 tomorrow, etc.

The east coast bias should never be a thing nor should "premiere" teams (dodgers, Yankees) because this is the PLAYOFFS. This should showcase the entire league.

This is an MLB problem, not a "oh I'm not the Yankees/dodgers I should shut up" thing. MLB needs to do better to promote it's entire product.

Going to be at work for this one, what's the best way to listen in? It's on 710 AM Seattle. Is there an easy way to tune into that on my phone?

Do you have MLB.tv? They have a radio section where you can tune in.

If you just have a radio though, I BELIEVE it may be on 910 in Portland.

Negative. I guess I can just steal a tv stream like I do for all the blazers game. My employer will understand.

Lmao. I'm debating on that or bellying up to the bar. Haven't decided but man I'm a wreck. It all hit me this morning.

With Verlander I don't give us much of a shot but I also didn't when we were down 8-1 on Saturday so wtf do I know.

We will definitely need some run support. Gilbert is the right move against Verlander but the guy is getting close to legend status.

I'm not as nervous today as I will be for game 3 if they put fucking Ray back on the hump.

Bruh Flexen would be an awesome person for Game 3 but nah he's on the taxi squad..

I bet Ray is fucking starting instead of Gilbert and just the hypothetical is pissing me off.

I'm at the bar just waiting for the game to start. I can't drink too much so the Mariners have to do their part to make sure I don't. Lmao.

I found out I could listen on seattlesports.com for free. Good thing I'm on my lunch break and not in the office right now, because I'm stressing out.

I know this is the first time in two decades the Mariners make the playoffs, so looking at these things closely might not be something you’ve done. Every game is getting their shine by not stacking them on top of each other. Baseball is an every day game, the fact the AL is getting an extra day off is a little weird but only way to make sure every day has games. You might not like it but it’s like complaining that Cowboys and Lakers have more national games or get better spots in playoffs, it’s a way of life in pro sports.

So far, M's are treating Verlander like the Phillies treated my guy Fried in the earlier game. I like it!

Sorry I couldn't read past me watching the braves and Phillies on another station while our game is going on.

Not even sure what that means but if you're tuning into both games than good on you. You want two games a night for A/NLDS and maybe only one game a night for the A/NLCS? The teams that bring in ratings are going to get prime time games, and that's the Yankees on the east coast and Dodgers on west coast. Every sport does it and baseball needs to be played everyday, not only because that's the way the game is but because they can't play in most markets deep into mid November. Fans cry about it every year, you just don't notice with Seattle usually out of the playoffs.

Sounds like they’re giving Verlander a good butt whoopin
