Heard the Mariners are going after Ohtani. Gonna take big bucks , north of 500 mil. But that would be cool for Mariners fans.

Yes, it was said the other day on Fox Sports Radio about the teams going after him. One of like 6 teams. Dodgers, Mets, were 2 others i remembered. But my ears perked up when i heard Mariners.

Judge continues to use Mariner pitchers for batting practice. His slugging % is near .900 against Seattle. Holy pinstripes Batman!!
Seattle is such a great place to catch a game.

he almost signed with the Mariners the first time.

he’s staying on the west coast so it eliminates a lot of options but I don’t see him going anywhere but the dodgers

MLB will decide where he goes and that's LA. There's no further discussion, and that sucks

They will. I have no faith or trust it won't be rigged to go where they can talk about him even more.

Angels are the lesser team in LA even though they have 2 generational talents.

I don’t think they care where he goes. Ohtani turns a small market into a big market with his Japanese fan base.

but the dodgers practically didn’t spend (for their standard) any money the last two years waiting for him. They will have the best offer.

I'm wondering if Ichiro got anywhere near the love nationally than Ohtani would garner in a place like Milwaukee or Arizona. Hypothetical of course.
 
Yankees are whooping the Mariners so bad, guys are screaming at the umpires just to hit the showers early.
 
two very ugly losses. Both games were over in the first inning. Both starters completely shelled.

Sure, it was a questionable check swing call. But it wasn't a strikeout, Murphy still had the rest of the AB to put a ball in play. No need to shout horrible things and get tossed out of the game during an active plate appearance.

The manager getting tossed, that's normal, gotta back up your players. But it burned some time off the clock.

I was laughing when Cal jumped off the bench and smacked one in the gap, then Judge had a total brain freeze after all the yelling and ejections disrupted the game.

That wasn't the only call I was referencing.

That's a pretty wild excuse for Judge missing that ball, but alright.
