I'm just over the moon that he may have figured out lefties. He put up really solid at bats against a decent lefty (they had good movement but he was able to stay back and scan that offspeed pitch well which means his body is aligned nicely to see it)... I got real nerdy there lol
 
Whatever he's doing it needs to keep it going. 482' is such a bomb. Puts him in a rare group with a single swing.
 
The Wong addition has seemed more like the Wrong addition, so far. I know he won't be below the Mendoza line all season, but he's really digging himself a hole.

I knew it wasn't good the moment we signed him. Just never liked his game. Would much rather have Frazier back.
 
Just got done watching replays of the games from Saturday and today.

Couldn't watch them in real time, obviously.

I'm catching games live when I can and I think I'm 3-1? My schedule has me missing minimum two games a week and if they are on the road it's hit or miss.

Flexen getting rocked this inning but it's better than ever having Ray pitch again.
 
Flexen getting just killed. I don't think he should be in the starting rotation. Opponents score like crazy when he is in. In 7 innings he's given up more runs than strikeouts. Insane.

I really do like Angie Mentink on color. She's really good. I've never liked blowers.
 
I just moved and haven't set up my VPN yet, so I've mostly consumed the game over the radio through MLB.tv. It's honestly how I prefer baseball anyway. Played catcher for many, many years, so I have no problem painting myself a picture of the game.

Yeah I do the same most times. I love listening to the radio.

My favorite duo is the Rays duo. But Dave Wills passed unexpectedly during spring training. Man they were so good together him and Andy Freed. It's so odd when you've listened for years and it just changes. Baseball radio is the best form to really connect with the announcers.
