When a team can't hit AAA-level pitching you got problems. JRod simply is not playing at star-level. Gets plenty of opportunities to show that he is a star and just can't deliver. One trade at the deadline is not gonna move the needle. Cal, Mitch Garbage, Mitch Haninmyass, JP, Dielan, and Calzone, are all offensive liabilities.
The marine air and ballpark doesn't keep you from putting the bat on the ball. It also has absolutely no effect on the team when they are playing in Florida other than it's a different marine air?Legit question, what do you all think is the cause of the M's poor hitting? We've been like this since at least the late 2000s. I personally attributed this to their ballpark (which I think is very pitcher friendly) and the marine layer, ???. Chone freakin' Figgins is a great example, and Beltre, and etc. etc. etc. people who come to Seattle and can't hit. Regretfully I think it's actually our culture and coaching but I hope that's wrong because like shit.
They simply cannot even put the ball in play, in general. More SEA batters K than any other team in the league.Legit question, what do you all think is the cause of the M's poor hitting? They should have flipped Safeco Field around. Batters are hitting into the offshore breeze. Bringing in the fences definitely helped, but the park is still a pitcher's paradise.Legit question, what do you all think is the cause of the M's poor hitting? Why send Locklear down for Polanco? Makes no sense to me. Just what the team needs: another sub 200 hitter.
meh. I liked what I saw from Locklear and Ty France has been mediocre at best since his hot start in 2022Locklear is the clear choice. He's not going to get ABs up here. Send him down to get reps.

meh, it’s not like Ty shows much more in a week either. Plus I’m tired of his slow ass on the base pathsWhat you saw from locklear was once a week at best. Bliss has been amazing and he was the only other "option" to send down

That’s cool but the 10 game lead has been cut in half in one week…Julio looks broken, I’m starting to get worried he has regressed considerably.
Hard to watch this offense each game. And HOU will be on top of the division by the ASBThat’s cool but the 10 game lead has been cut in half in one week…Julio looks broken, I’m starting to get worried he has regressed considerably.
If this is what Julio is, this team is screwed
