Hard to say, it was close. Definitely worth a challenge. It'd be tied right now.

If it wasnt definitive, it is the first inning, you lose em for the rest of the game if its wrong... 1st inning of the 1st of a possible 7 games... good decision to not do it if its not definitive.

Momentum is everything though. First run puts the pressure on them AND you erase the out which would extend the inning. Agree to disagree but you didn't see it. I bet you'd challenge it too.

Im basing it off "hard to say", it needs to be definitive.

I didnt see it, correct, which is why im being abstract about it. It has to be definitive to use it in the first inning, thats just the rule of law for that no matter what.

Rule of law? Must have missed that in the Constitution lol managers get two challenges in the playoffs. The team that scores first has a large statistical advantage to win the game. Based on the only angles we saw, I would have tapped the top of my head.

They get two challenges but they lose the 2nd one if the 1st one is unsuccessful.

To be fair. I trust their judgements better than you or I. So if the video coordinator didnt see anything that was definitive, im going with them.

It has to be irrefutable, not "hard to say". That is the rule of the law, in that instance e

huh? That isn't how it works. If they challenge and it's successful, then they retain the challenge. If it's unsuccessful then they still have one more.

Ah. They changed it. Two in the playoffs. For 162 games its not that way.

Either way, they do know better, irrefutable or dont challenge. Glad they did not challenge if they saw they couldnt win it.

Ive really got to give credit to all you baseball fans. It takes dedication to sit through a 680 game season. I’m enjoying your enjoyment.

I don’t deserve to revel in the Mariners winning the World Series, but maybe you do. Let’s see nothing but domination from here on out. Seems like the biggest line was that a team which put up 10+ runs in 3 games their last series was held to only one at home. Get this next one, end it in five.

Why aren’t all series past the wild card BO7?

Should they be?

Winning 11 out of 17 is already hard enough! Lol. Or even 13 out of 20!

I am really OK with anyone but Dodgers winning. Seattle and Milwaukee because they never have. Toronto because I like Canada.

Bryce really impressed me. He had one bad pitch, the first, then just got it done. I know he could have gone another inning. Best game overall of his career when you factor in what is at stake. 1 run. 1 fucking run.

And it was one of only two hits he gave up. It was a gutsy performance for sure.

Reminded me of Catfish pitching in Game 1 of 1973 World Series. Gave up home run first pitch. Only hit Mets got.

Me- hey boss I need like the next week off.

Boss- well okay what’s up?

Me- I might need two weeks?

Boss- that might hurt but if you really need it?

Me- could go into the third week but absolutely no longer than that.

Boss- if this is treatment or something we can work with you.

Me - Nah nothing like that.

Boss - Well what is it then?

Me- You know…. Baseball.

Boss- You know “Pink Slip”?
