I followed them for so many years and now that they're doing well I haven't paid attention...glad to see them have success after all. Last I followed them Seager was still at 3rd base and Cruz was slugging away and Cano got suspended for juicing or something.
Forever they would find a great pitcher and trade him....they always dumped their best prospects. Glad to see them go young. My mom was a Cards and Cubs fan...so glad she got to see the Cubs win the series...it's the last thing we did together when she was close to death. I used to love the Indians and the Braves ..back when they were great teams.Yeah that was a few years ago and their pitching staff sucked so they always under achieved. This team is young and pretty fun to watch. Julio Rodriguez is the most exciting young rookie in a long time.
I’m actually a Cardinals fan. Been so since I was a little kid. But I’m a big baseball fan and have so much access out here to the Mariners so I’ve kind of adopted them as my American League team. Plus my experiences going to Mariners games have always been a blast
I'm loving the young team they've put together. Going to catch a couple games next month while in Seattle, so I hope they are still firing and in the race. George Kirby has been my favorite bright spot, I just wonder when they will pull him for the season. Don't want to many innings on a rookie arm.Yeah that was a few years ago and their pitching staff sucked so they always under achieved. This team is young and pretty fun to watch. Go M's!

I'm in the same boat as your good friend. I get some shit for how big of a fan I am, because it is pretty rough. I'll keep praying every single year though!!!Yeah they’ve made awful decisions with their top prospects in the past. My good friend is the most diehard mariners fan out there and I always joke with him about how it might be the most awful franchise out there. No WS appearances in over 40 years of existence and only a few playoff appearances but tons of Hall of Famers
If I had to pick a team in the NL it would probably be the Giants. I root for the Nationals too, since I've been to a bunch of games while visiting DC. May we meet you in October, good sir.Go Giants!
Nope. Giants.I used to go see the Em's play in Eugene back in the day...haven't been to a ball game in ages though...I think the Emerald's are a Padres farm team if I'm not mistaken

That's a new thing isn't it? Only recently acquired? Something like 2021?Nope. Giants.
I'm not exactly sure how Eugene ended up as a Giants farm team, but baseball did some minor league "contraction" a couple of years ago and one of the casualties was the short season Single A Salem/Keizer Volcanoes. So Eugene (formerly short Season Single A) became a full season Single A team. And somehow affiliated with the Giants. That's a new thing isn't it? Only recently acquired? Something like 2021?
Along with Greg Luzinski, Larry Bowa, Denny Doyle, Oscar Gamble, Bob Boone and more than a few other guys who played in the majors for various durations. The 1972 team was frickin' stacked.Emeralds have been around forever. They use to be a Phillies farm team. Mike Schmidt actually played for them back in the 70’s
