I spend my 4th of July week pining for Olshey to do something, anything, and posting about it.

Salad goes with either cottage cheese or tofu. I eat tofu with spinach and kale. Salsa for flavor. All cheaply bought at Costco. Tofu is one of many protein sources for us vegetarians. (Other protein: yogurt, quinoa, cheese, noodles, potatoes, McDonalds hamburger coupons, oatmeal, Burger King coupons, Malt-o-Meal, Cream of Wheat, etc.) (I'm too cheap to waste coupons.)

The 4th of July is a totally bro'd out holiday.

I love the 4th. We had grilled hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, potato chips, lemonade, coke, Walla Walla sweets, lettuce, tomato, pickel, thousand island dressing grilled sesame buns, strawberries, watermelon, and ice cream. I'm stuffed.

Watched a 1959 biography of John Paul Jones.

Lots of fire works in this town but I'm just a bit too disabled to make it to either one. The kids on the high school across the street will probably keep me up all night with fire crackers.
