How can Oden solve the foul crisis?

so now we are using fouls as the EXCUSE on why he sucks? k... cause before i was pretty sure it was injuries or something lol.

he stinks

You haven't been right about a damned thing all year. Nobody takes this crap seriously.

Dumber than a box of rocks.

Greg just needs to say to himself while on the court: " Am I in good position? If not, I don't make a play on the ball or person with the ball!!!" His mistakes are always him trying to get a play where he has no leverage. Taking on a PG on the baseline is a huge NO NO!!!!! He's going to lose every time. When he's on offense and he doesn't get the board, don't attack the ball when ya are so far out of position. Easy simple mental hickups he has to think through. His fouls are all easy to fix mental blunders!

Got to think BIG O!!!!

If Mixum ignores his promise, what happens? Nothing.... I doubt the mods will do anything about it, and it's against the rules to attack another poster. Face it Blazer fans, we're stuck with Mixum forever. I'm not convinced he will magically ride off into the sunset after we secure our playoff spot.

It's very simple fix.

When he posts no one, and I mean no one responds.

If he starts a thread no one joins in.

Children who whine or complain will stop eventually if no one pays any attention to them.

Does anyone ever get the irrational thought that Greg fouls on purpose because he doesn't want to be on the floor?

I said it was irrational. But last night I actually pondered that for a minute.

Greg still thinks he's at OSU where he could do anything to anyone at anytime and he'd be put on sportcenter as a GOD!

I thought we had a rule about quoting mixum in your posts... i was going along fine with ignore until everyone started showing me what he wrote.

You and I both know that will never happen pop.

I don't. I saw G.O. purposefully try to avoid contact but still get the foul called on him, and he looked pretty frustrated. It's a really weird thing going on, I don't think I've ever seen a player in NBA history deal with so much foul trouble every time he's on the floor.

Not entirely irrational. If his knee is hurting him, he may be hacking out of frustration.

and I really think he should play in the summer league.

Really? I don't think that is a good idea at all. It is so un organized and so many hacks trying to make a name for themselves without any regard to anyone's safety. Greg would would be triple teamed and fouled on every move. I don't want to baby the guy, but it seems risky. he needs to be completely healthy. And i am not sure he is.

I don't know if Joel fouled as much, but he sure had the same problem when he first came to Portland. He worked through it, and so will Greg. (Recall the handle, FoulZilla?)

Not just when he came to Portland. Joel had to deal with that shit for his first few years in the league. It's only been in the last few years that he's been able to shirk the refs.

I hear what you're saying, but I would really like to give Greg some game experience as the #1 option on offense. I would like to see Jerryd and Greg in the Summer League working together. We can't always be worried about him.
