Every stit belief exists. Flat-earth for example. We can find 1000’s of videos and posts online supporting this bunk idea. But nobody I have ever met believes it. It would be crazy for me to bring this idea up, assign the wacko concept to some group that posts here and then to straw man against it. But we do this with race, religion and politics. It gets us nowhere.

What we end up doing is defending people we don't even respect or agree with (Trump and Hillary are good examples) just to try and prove a point. People would rather defend the most fringe people in their 'group' than the moderate ones from the 'other side', even though they probably have more in common with the moderates from the other side. We all just get duped into fighting with each other.
