Either get a seed sixth or better, or head into the lottery. I'd rather take what chances there are at moving up into the Top 3 of the Draft than 4-5 games against the Warriors or Spurs. This draft class is supposed to be filled to top talent and deep, so there could be a bright side to this disappointing season, especially considering Neil excels at the Draft.

No, I think you summed it up--this was a game of positives, lots of moral victories and the Blazers are strong favorites for NBA moral champions.

The problem is, once you win the moral championship, how do you build on that? And if you have nothing to build on, was it really a moral victory?

My nads are totally pumped for whatever this team thinks it's doing right now! Go team! Yay positivity and warm, fuzzy sentiments of encouraging signs of small, meaningless progress.

In the land of the weak, moral victories are king... and we are the ever strong royalty. Kings among men. Ever woven into the upper echelon of the elite of NBA society. Absolute world beaters when adversity strikes and the going gets tough. We look adversity in the face and say "we got this" and then fold under pressure like no one has ever folded before. Maybe the best ever. We are the best at something right now and that's worth its weight in gold.

So glad I got cable this year and am able to pay money to enjoy all of this progress and potential we show. Glad that I can be proud of one of the few things that I can escape to at the end of a long day. I'll be sure to spend even more of my money at your fine establishment where my son and I can eat $10 hot dogs and enjoy a "competitive" game of basketball played by a thrilling team that's always competitive and shows some heart.
