<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Trading the #7 for Telfair was a bad move. Sure, you got cash but Foye is already a much better player than Telfair and he's not reckless like Telfair who tries to pass the ball to much. Ratliff isn't the same player he used to be for he is getting older.I liked Rondo in college but in the NBA he'll have trouble doing anything but driving and defending. His jump shot is just too inconsistant and it looks awkward. He'll give you 2-3 straight good shooting games then follow up with a week of horrid shooting. If he fixes that, he could be a dominant PG.I think Delonte West is still your starting PG.As for Powe, he's a talented player but he's small. He's probably 6'8" with shoes on. He'll get dominated by taller defenders. And yeah his knees, two major surgeries and constant minor injuries, not a good sign for a 82 game season. You might come close to the playoffs this season but unless Al Jefferson steps up, you'll be relying solely on Pierce and Wally all season.</div>Okay I'm extreamly disagree with you.If Telfair went to Louisville and played with Rick Pitino for 2 years and then entered this draft, he would have defiantly been a top 3 pick. How is the hell is Foye better than Telfair already? How many minutes has Randy Foye played in the NBA? How many has Telfair? 1,000 plus. Not to mention,
Telfair is 21 years old.Okay about Ratliff? But we didn't get him to start him, we got him to save 20 million dollars for Raef LaFrentz. How will Rondo have trouble driving? That's what he does best. His shooting is awful, like you said. Rondo will be traded for Allen Iverson. How is Powe to small at 6-8? Ryan Gomes started half the year, and looked great doing that. Gomes was only 6-7.Telfair is almost locked to be our starting PG, with West coming off the bench. In which he'll be better.</div>Telfair doesn't do anything but try to play streetball in the NBA. His shots are off target to the point it's below .400. He can barely hit the 3 yet takes it way too often. Plus, he's probably the most immature player in the NBA. He thinks he's Hollywood already and hasn't done a thing yet. Experience means nothing in the NBA, why do you think high school players were able to make a successful transition without going to college? Basketball is basketball on any level. The only difference is the shot clock and 3 point line.I said the exact opposite about Rondo. He'll have trouble doing anything BUT drive and play defense.Gomes doesn't play PF. He's like Diaw except not as good. A SF that's forced to play PF but isn't strong enough to play PF but he's too slow to play SF. Powe is a true PF but he's considerably undersized. He's basically Ike Diogu. If you watched Diogu last season, while he can score, playing defense was extremely hard for him because players could just look right over him or back him down. Diogu's 10 pounds heavier too.As I said, the Celtics are basically a borderline playoff team. Sub .500 cuts in the East so they're lucky. Basically they'll be first round vacation for Detroit, Miami, Indiana, or Cleveland. If they acquire a player like AI, they'll still be behind NJN in the East.</div>Telfair can drive and dish, and before his recent thumb injury he shot above 40% from the field. He didn't do that well in Portland because, he was in Portland. The Knicks of the Western Conference. Now he'll be paired up with Pierce and Wally, two good shooting veterans.
