My name is Brian. When I joined the forum, I was living in Washington.

I'm from Portland, and I live presently in FL, but I guess I'm just BrianFromWA. That, or I'm too vain to give up my hard-earned Street Cred by becoming TheBFW or something.

People got to know me as SlyPokerDog, it seemed to fit so it stuck and I've used it ever since.

Banned for what?
 
I grew up speaking the clicking whistling language of Saharan Tanzania. My best friend in 3rd grade was named jhtvj, but his best friends called him jlprk. He would fight you if you called him jhtvj, which was a snob's name.
 
My first email address I ever made was trailblazer18 at yahoo. Trailblazer for obvious reasons and 18 because that was my age at the time. Since then, I have used trailblazer18 as my sign in name or user name for many things.

My failed band was Here Come Dots.
Handclap Problematic came from the first spam email that I ever read. The body of the email was complete alphabet soup for 4 paragraphs. Just garbage like "ffftudhj j bgdjjbbd .shhdhhd". But right in the middle randomly was handclap problematic. They were the only legible words in a sea of garbage. I liked that idea.

And I seriously thought it was because you might be one armed.........

On Oregonlive's Blazer Forum you can flag a post for any reason. The mods of that forum are in New Jersey and moderate a bunch of different forums. People would get in arguments and all you would have to do is flag a post and write racist for the reason you flagged it and the mods would ban the person without even reading it. Also I fully admit I was an ass at times.

That's why when I became a mod here I really pushed the no personal insult rule. There are people over on Oregonlive who have these weird feuds going for over a decade. "10 years ago you called me a....." "I did that because you called me a ...."

Just because a mod is from NJ should not have any influence on the upstanding character and humble spirit I display
