"How Do You Solve A Problem Like LaMarcus?"

On the contrary...... I was talking about all other players excluding Lamarcus, i.e., if Lamarcus slows down at home (which, your LA stats are only supporting what I was thinking, albeit for a different reason), then, hopefully, the other players pick it up and hit some shots (which I feel better about with going home).

Checked the rest of the starting five:

Lillard has better stats on the road.

Matthews is about the same at home and on the road.

Batum is slightly better at home.

Lopez is better at home.

I love the "let Lillard get 20+ shots" idea, lol. Are the serious? Lillard would drop 50 if they sagged off him. I also, like them lagging off Lopez too. Lopez can get 20 if you leave him alone. They're screwed because Aldridge is a great passer out of the post. I can't wait for tomorrow night. We're gonna destroy them.

Yeah, that would be like saying "let Stephen Curry get 20+ shots!" :biglaugh:

So........ all-in-all....... we're better at home. My original point. Not a huge disparity. But again, if LA is going to cool off and the other guys are going to find some rhythm, it's most likely going to be at home. Let's take game 3 and crush these bitches!

Yeah. I meant to put that post with the LA post, but I had to take care of something.

Let's take game 3 and crush these bitches!

I'll go with that chant!!!

My favorite paragraph so far:

"There's an especially absurd sequence, beginning at the 2:29-mark of the video, when Aldridge just torments the Rockets with a series of unguardable jumpers: He takes poor Terrence Jones into the post, spins left, and drops a fall-away jumper right in his face. He flicks a jumper from the right wing over the outstretched hand of Omer Asik, a seven-footer who can't even come close to touching Aldridge's shot. He gets the ball on the left block, appears to suddenly find the idea of posting up boring and not worth his time, and again shoots a jumper right over Asik. He gets Asik on the left block once again, takes one hard dribble towards the paint to create some space—as if he was ever actually going into the paint, Omer!—before pulling up for another gorgeous jumper. Aldridge hops away on one leg, completely amused with himself, while poor Asik turns into a giant, Turkish Charlie Brown."
That is some excellent prose, right there. :)

There is a very simple way to stop Aldridge.

On team does it very well, but I wont say in case McHale is desperate enough to read our forum for advice

Is there a reason that when LA does work down in the post and gets that great spin move he pops up for a J and not 2 steps to the rim? He seems fast enough to just throw that down and ensure the points. Even if the weak-side help comes that's a quick pass to wide open jam from Rolo. I mean he shoots the shot well but its no 90%.

I've wondered the same many, many times.
