My Dad is in the Navy, He goes away a weekend each month to train new recruits. Well, He was sitting in on a Boot Camp for whatever reason and he hears one of the Drill Sergeants tell a recruit he needs to call home.The guy calls home and then drops to his knees in tears. He is bawling his eyes out. It turns out his little brother who he is really close with has drowned. So the guy is just sitting there in complete tears. One of the Drill Sergeants walks over to him slams the phone down on the hook. And yells to the guy " You should have taught the little Son of bi*ch to swim.Then when the guy gets back from 3 days at home for the funeral, The Sergeant starts accusing him of only going home to smoke weed and party with friends. He dumps the guys bag all over the ground looking for drugs which he obviously didn't have.My dad gave the guys name to the CO and reported him. How rediculus is this?Thats horrible.

I would not allow a sergeant bastard low-life say anything of that sort to me. However, this is rare. Most sergeants are dicks to you, and are rough, but would never take something to this level. I have seen cadet summer camps, and I plan on going to one next summer after Thailand.
