Ted bumped into a woman at a St. Patrick's Day party in tonight's episode. They showed it for no reason and he says the "mother" was there.

The actress is listed in the credits (again for no reason) as Nicole Muirbrook Wagner.

Could this be the end of the three season long mystery?

could be but they also stated they had no idea they were there, so maybe the bump would've came up if they talked about it, i think its a girl who they have yet to bring in but state she was there then in the future, re shoot a scene with her in it

but i honestly have no idea

Greatest show ever. I haven't watched any of the new ones because I never caught the first season so I just rented that and will be renting the second one this weekend.

Yeah, they like to screw with you. It doesn't make sense to lock themselves into an actress when it might be years before they need her.

i thought the exact same thing but the other daughter thing kinda caught me in the thoguht its not her, but i dont think we are done seeing Stella

ya last episode she did nothing except her dialouge with ted during the one scene
and robin is due for a huge couple episodes in a row
but it is hard to give all 5 characters equal time on screen, oh well
but i did love the scene when barney did his magic and the rest got upset at him and he got a timeout
