No, but rosters are built on it.........Basketball isn't played on paper.

There were only 76 players in the league last year that hit at least .355 on at least 245 3PA. An average of 2.5 per team. Wolves have 5 of those, or two teams' worth. That's pretty strong.
The Cavs had 6 players who met that criteria this past season, so it would seem reasonable to assume that the 5 Wolves mentioned could absolutely all have that many 3PA again this coming year as well..355 3FG% is below league average (.358). And since there is only one basketball, those five guys can't possibly all shoot ≥ 245 3FGA this season, you should probably cut that number in half.
If you do, there were 116 players, nearly four per team, in the league last year that shot ≥ .355 3FG% on at least 123 3FGA. Not one of MIN's players was in the top half of that group. Of those 116, MIN's five ranked: 66th (Aaron Brooks), 86th (Towns), 87th (Butler), 102nd (Crawford), 108th (Teague) and 111th (Wiggins).
They don't have a single elite 3-point shooter. What they have is five average shooters that jack up a lot of shots - but only one basketball.

The point is--to say that "they can't shoot" (which is the assertion to which I initially took exception) is not supported by the data.
We will once again have no all stars, whereas guys like Middleton and Kemba will get in in the East.
Yes but if we had rules against being rude I would have to ban myself.
So you're saying we should be nicer to Meyers ?
That's a lot of Summaries

Umm...You realize that in addition to the fan vote, it also is in fact voted on by the coaches and the players, right? And since when did making an all star team become a way to judge the quality of a player? If it was voted on by the players and coaches, sure.
Really? They just imposed this last season and it is a % of the vote. I'm quite sure you realize what I meant. FANS should have no say in who is the elite. Plain and simple. Post like JinxSpeed much?Umm...You realize that in addition to the fan vote, it also is in fact voted on by the coaches and the players, right?
Why would it be smart to trade an elite PG?

It's along the lines "shut up".GTFO is a very tongue in cheek idiom. If people get offended by that they need to develop thicker skin.
GTFO should be read like it was typed with green font and italics.![]()
They have a couple average shooters and a couple bad shooters. That averages to below average. There were only 76 players in the league last year that hit at least .355 on at least 245 3PA. An average of 2.5 per team. Wolves have 5 of those, or two teams' worth. That's pretty strong.
Not really. I'm not a fan of Wiggins, and wouldn't think he's that great even with him on my team. I'd say it's certainly possible but I'd have the same opinion. No bench, 15th-20th ranked defense, and 10th to 15th ranked offense.I am not at all. I said Blazers fans over here would think we would make the WCF if not further if we had that much talent. Shit, they said we'd get HCA in the first round with what we have now.

I don't agree. Telling someone to STFU isn't nearly the same thing as telling someone to GTFO.
Y'all are overrating the Wolves.
Im tired of al this STFU and GTFO..
IM all about
GOMD GIMC!!!!!!!!!!

Haha! Milsap is declining and overpaid. We're gonna smash Denver.

Says the guy who thinks Thomas Robinson is an all-star, who thinks Warren Gillis is an NBA player, and WAS advocating the reacquiring of Greg Ogden a couple years. No no lets stick to reality, Milsap is amazing, Denver would be tough
Thomas Robinson is obviously not an all star because he doesn't even have a contract. If it has to do with personality issues or other reasons I don't know but talent-wise he could be an All-Star.
No, but rosters are built on it.........
Wait, everything is probably done by email now, I take that back.
Nice. Billy Ocean is one of my karaoke go-tos.
I see your creepy song about getting girls into your car and raise you one "Vehicle" by Ides of March.
Rip Territory, Baby!!Maybe we can change the name to the Northwest Trailblazers so we have a regional support base like what was done for "New England." Seattle lost their team and Washington could align themselves with a "regional" brand. At least we would not feel so isolated with talent ending up in Texas ,OKL City or Cal..
I wonder if YOU posting this will mean anything to these guys. Been saying this for a couple months and everybody freaks out on me. Of course they will. They have acquired a TON of talent. If they don't gel, they will be a blast to watch.
If we had their talent, guys on here would say we were headed to the WCF, but because it's somebody else.......
