In the league now? And in the history of the league?

Good question... don't know. I am trying to think of the most prolific backcourt and for some reason, Mookie Blaylock and Steve Smith come to mind. I am sure there is a better backcourt out there somewhere in NBA history. Porter and Drexler were both very good scorers. Monta Ellis and Baron Davis?? Gail Goodrich and Jerry West in the old Lakers are the most prolific backcourt per Google, each averaging over 25 points a game. But 50 points is pretty tough to do...

I do remember a game (can't remember if it was a playoff game or not) where Jalen Rose and Reggie Miller BOTH scored 40 points in the same game. Now that's impressive!

Did Joe Johnson ever score 50? Jamal Crawford has at least one 50 pt game.

MIAMI HEAT!!!!!!! DWade and Quinton Richardson have each had 50 point games.

Detroit has Ben Gordon and Rip who both scored 50 in a game.

Since 1986-87 for teammates playing guard who did it as members of their teams:

Portland Trail Blazers: Brandon Roy/Andre Miller, 1 year, 1 month, 12 days apart (Roy has not done it with Miller as a teammate)
Milwaukee Bucks: Michael Redd/Brandon Jennings, 2 years, 8 months, 10 days apart (Redd has not done it with Jennings as a teammate)
Denver Nuggets: Michael Adams/Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, 4 years, 8 months, 15 days apart (Adams left before Abdul-Rauf did it)

So, over the last 23-24 years, no two guards have both scored 50 while teammates, but have scored 50 for the same team they were teammates on, Portland's duo being the closest together.

doesnt richardson play sf?

Who knows? Positions are weird now a days. I'm sure he is listed as one, but I've seen him replace Wade in games. I know Crawford has played the 3 most of his career but I consider him a 2.

Drexler and Porter did that once in the playoffs against the Jazz.

Monta Ellis and Jamal Crawford? Tony Delk scored 53 once and he got around the league quite a bit.

Monta's career high is 45 pts actually. Coulda swore he got over 50 earlier this season...

Who cares. Does having 2 guys who have scored 50 in a game automatically win a championship? Nope.

He can play guard or small forward. He's a swingman.

I think Eddie Jones is the only Laker (who wasn't a Blazer at some time in his career) that I actually liked when he was a Laker.

Yeah, I liked Eddie Jones. Very much my kind of player...long, athletic, great defender in his prime and versatile offensively. Another guy I wouldn't mind Batum developing to be like.

On his way to developing into Scottie Pippen.

Go Blazers
