How Many Of You Would Actually Serve In The Armed Forces?

Well this has gone a little off-topic. But truth be told, Balla still a co-admin here, because of all he has done in the past with the site. He's not a bad co-admin or anything and is still around a lot right now, but I do the majority of the stuff already, and pay for everything...just because it's my site now. Not devaluing him, because he still does a lot..just saying. And the site will obviously increase with admins when we add more active members. There is no need for that now as the majority of the posts are in off-topic and general nba discussion...and it's quite easy to take care of stuff. I made a post in the staff forum, that shows we on average get 20 new members a day. Tims that by 365, and we should have well over 10,000 members in a years time. I think we'll be huge by that point. And trust me when I say, this site will never die..we're long past that point. We've made it past the point of no return. This site will be here as long as the internet is here and I'm still alive

.And to the question...hell no I would never serve for this country. Especially when there is no real reason for my service. I'd probably be dead in a day even if I did..I'm not cut out for that.

It has interested me but I wouldn't unless there's a draft. Definitely don't any part of killing my Iranian people. :-/

What, Prosportsdaily won't let you be admin?

I would never do it voluntarilly, and if I got drafted be in off to Canada in a heartbeat.

Hell no. I'd be scared to into the army. If there is a draft - I'm leaving the US for a while.

I can actually legally dodge the draft since I'm a dual citizen of the US and Canada :dribble:

Me, my mom, and one of her friends were talking, and I don't think they can draft me now, because I have a family member who died serving. But, if that's not the case, I'd go to Canada, because I'm not an Army person, and I'm all my mom has left and she doesn't want me going.

My friend is going to sign up for the Army or whatever it is at the begining of next year.

I wouldn't mind serving. I wouldn't say that I would serve "voluntarily," but if I found it to be necessary for my country and/or family, I would. I, at the moment, don't feel like I'm physically capable of doing a lot of that stuff though, anyway.

I would love to serve in the armed forces. Helping out other people is a great feeling and the feeling that you are protecting millions has to be great. You'd also be considered a hero dying for another person.

All that matters is your dead. that being said id join the military but id make it my sole mission to not be dead by ''whatever means necessary''.

If you're drafted can you choose what part of the army to join? Like could you choose to join the Coast Guard?

^ You mean the Armed Forces not the army the Armed Forces are all the different branches, the Coast Guard is a part of the navy. And you need atleast a high school diploma to join the army , navy , marines , or the Air Force. Also it goes like this for roles.Army= mainly the groundforces or infantry but they have other jobs also.Navy= well if you haven't read a history book in a while the navy specializes in the water they are the "watchouts" of the U.S. Armed Forces.Marines= Basically a more advanced version of the army.Air Force= through the air, they defend and attack , deliver and retrieve

I hate it when people say they don't want to die. It sounds kind of prissy. If you died, you wouldn't care. You're dead. And you'll die one day anyways so it really doesn't matter.

I'd like to live until I get old. I'm just saying that it really doesn't matter if you die or not. You're not going to feel anything when you're dead.
