I know it's way early but I just want a quick pull it out of your rear end answer on how many wins POR will have this yr - again assume with current roster

I'll say 44

41-41, give or take 5 games (somewhere around .500)

I don't think 50 wins is out of reach.

This team was a bench away from making the playoffs LAST YEAR. We picked up a legit center, a talented backup four, an explosive scorer, and a shooter. I see us winning 50+ wins, especially if Lillard steps it up.

We have a better roster than last year's Nuggets. I'm gonna go with 57.

43 hit it right on the nose last year. Looked like I was way off till the long losing streak

I'll guess 40. I say we'll win more games than last year because of our improved depth, but we won't take a huge step because (a) we probably won't get 73+ games from Lillard, Batum and Aldridge again, and (b) the talent is still, for the most part, young.

It's a continuing upward trajectory, which is good, but I fear that we might not have the big-time talent in place for the long haul and, as we're scratching our way back to mediocrity, we might not be in a position to add it.

My guess is if we have full health and our rookies are about as expected, 46 wins. We have so much more depth, I don't think our starters will fade like they did at the end of the year. Our reserves also won't lose leads like they did last year.

Bottom line, I think there are going to be a higher beta in records this year, with some teams doing the full tank and others really competing. If we really compete, we'll be pretty good.

I think the big 3 big weaknesses from last year (pts allowed in the paint, depth, rebounding) will still be weak spots this year, just maybe not as bad.

I'll go with 43 wins

41 with a normal career trajectory for Lillard.

50 if Lillard makes a leap.

I can't believe nobody has said "18-0".

I go with 48.

I think chemistry will play a big role in a successful season. 47 wins

i think 44 is reasonable. realistically hoping for more like 48.

I think the over/under is 46. I'm going with the over. I'll take 47.
