Getting healthy at the right time and have the softest post All-Star schedule in the NBA by a good margin.

I could see them getting 45-46 with good health.

I'll stick with my original prediction of 42 wins and be happy if we surpass that and to be honest I won't be too broken up if we don't get to 42 wins as long as the young guys continue to develop in the right direction.

I said 40-41 wins before the season started. I'll stay with that

their schedule gets more difficult after last night. 12 home games; 16 road games. 8 of the next 10 are on the road and really only one pushover in those 8 road games. And Denver and Minny are the two home games. I can see 4-6 or 3-7 over that stretch; and if they are 5-6 games under .500 with 18 games left, it will be a challenge to climb past .500. If they are 29-35 it would take a 13-5 close to the season to get above .500. 30-34 would take a 12-6 record

If Deni truly is good to go going forward, the rest of the guys other than Time Lord off of back-to-back restrictions, I think 45 is a good goal.

Here is the upcoming 13 games before the final big road trip of the season - looks like a number of pushovers to me;

5x pushovers Utah, Chi, Mem, Ind, Utah
4x below average Phx, Cha, Atl, Cha
4x very good teams Min, Den, Min, Hou

Two B2B - one at Utah, which is good since they are epically hard tanking. Other B2B is at Atlanta - so thats the only real difficult game from a schedule perspective.

I like the Blazers chances over this stretch to get a few games above .500. But who the hell knows this team is great when I least expect it and crap once I finally start believing they're good.

The final 15 games of the season are posted below;

8x teams that are tanking BRK, IND, BRK MIL, Dal, WSH, NOP, SAC
3x Good teams PHL, Min, Den
2x Good teams (but they may have playoff seed locked up and rest starters) DEN, SAS
2x LA Clippers - this one is hard to project since they dont have their pick they won't tank - but this late in the season maybe they rest Kawhi

Hard to know. But very often we see average strength teams go on big runs of wins at the end of the year as many opponents are either tanking or resting guys for the playoffs.

Looking over those detailed schedules with all the teams that are either going to be tanking or resting players I'm guessing we have some good winning streaks and end up somewhere around 45-37 on the season.

That'll be 8th seed and we win one of the two playin opportunities to make the playoffs. We lose in 4-5 games but its a lot of fun to have meaningful games in April for the first time in a half decade.

I had them at 41, and will keep them there

I'd be amazed if they go 19-9 the rest of the way
