I just paid my insurance for the next six months, it cost me $319 dollars. I guess it's not to bad, since I have an older car I don't have to get full coverage so I only pay for liability.

What does everyone else pay for insurance?

I thought about going with them when I was shopping around a couple of years ago but they quoted me at like $700-800 dollars when everyone else was quoting me at around $300-400. Fuck that.

I live on England so prepared to be shocked, my last car which I sold today cost me £1535 a year, about $2600

I have 3 speeding tickets in the last 2 years, so that screws me. My insurance was up to 260 a month at its peak.

For me I only get 6 points for the first 4 years of driving, so I can only get 2 speeding tickets, none so far though :D

Ok that makes sense then.

I have State Farm full coverage and pay just under $70.00 a month and I get a $350.00 check in the mail at the end of the year for "good driver status."

My parents don't pay that much. But once I hit 18 and the company gets my info, the price is going to sky rocket.

Does anybody know how much it can increase by?

You're also older than me. They rape the shit out of you from 16-30.

You can go to somewhere like Progressive.com and get a quote which should give you a pretty good idea of how much your parents will be paying.
