OT How should these media, politics and Hollywood sexual allegations be handled?

This reminds me of a remotely related story about a guy and girl I worked with who were cheating on their spouses with each other. They worked day shift together but often worked overtime on my shift. Frankie and Howard were their names. They'd been having the affair for a long time and one day got caught kissing at work by my supervisor.

We knew they were going to get written up for it.

A couple of days go by and Howard got fired. The next time Frankie was on our shift we asked her why he got fired and she didn't. She said they were going to write them both up for kissing at work but Frankie told them Howard was making a pass at her and kind of assaulted her. We asked her why the fuck she would lie about it and her answer was this...."I wanted to break it off with him anyway and I have kids to support and I can't lose this job"

Uhhh that’s not what the pizza gate shit was about but alright. But yeah I would say it shows some truth with politicians and what has come out.

No, it doesn't show any truth. Logic doesn't work that way.

Pizzagate was complete bullshit from A to Z. None of it has proven out, not one shred.

I just said take away a lot of pizzagate though I do think tony podesta and the spirit cooking shit is pretty weird. That was proven through the leaked podesta emails. I just think it revealed a bigger picture being that these politicians in high places are doing this shit behind closed doors and it’s spilled out with evidence quite a few times.

Frankie and Howard reminds me of Frankie and Albert - great song

I really don't know what O'Riley or Lauer actually did.

If nothing else, they cheated on their wives. :dunno:

If you'll lie to your soulmate, you'll lie to anybody.

Kind of hampers your credibility as a source of truth.

I'm stoked by the whole thing.

This should result in a nearly complete draining of the swamp.

Too late to put the cat back in the bag about the slush fund.

Once the list of names of hush money payoffs is revealed, we will have the opportunity to flush the system and refill it with new people.

A real chance to have a say in our immediate future.

As a side benefit, because of Bill Clinton's crimes of adultery and rape now being considered bad form by liberals, people are now willing to re-examine the Clintons other crimes as a side benefit.

Heads will roll.

Seems like that would make you distrust Trump, then.

But for some reason, you give him a pass.

One thing I refuse to do is link Louis C.K. in with any of these guys. Politicians have been doing this shit, shit with kids etc. the pizza gate people tried telling you but you wrote them off as conspiracy theorists. Look where we are now. I’m not saying the whole idea of pizza gate was correct but the politician pedo shit is spot on
its part of the promotion process. oh you want to move up? well we are going to require you to fuck these children and obtain marlox so we have dirt on you if you ever get a conscience.

yeah i had a chick i worked with throw me under the bus too. we went on this week long training for work with a rented car from the company. she kept telling me we should go home and get paid. i admit i was kind of on board since the training was mind numbing, but i didnt want to go home i just wanted to chill in hotel and get paid still wrong, but different. I caved and we went home. we ended up getting caught. now on the way home she had made up this elaborate lie and told me we cant crack under pressure. they called her into the office first, she threw me under the bus but i didnt know, then they called me in. of course i said the rehearsed lie cause i didnt want to be the snitch and then they told me she already told the truth so i was like oh word ya we did it, then i said it was my idea being a noble idiot. She needed the health insurance. no sexual assault but she still manipulated the situation.

A friend of mine is a professor at a university and although nothing ever happened he implemented a policy that when students come to his office for any assistance the door always stays open. And in lecture he leaves his recording devise on till every student has departed. It sucks, but one accusation could ruin his career unless he can immediately show it is false. And his job includes failing students, some of whom may be vengeful.

And my friend told me a story about a different professor who had a recoding devise on when a student, a young man, came and argued after class that he should have gotten a higher grade on some exam. After the professor wouldn't budge (he was already being more lenient then his policy stated) the young man threatened that he would accuse the professor of soliciting a bribe. Of course the professor just smiled and said it was time to go. He brought the recording to the administration and the young man was reprimanded somehow. I think he ended up dropping out due to grade issues, but that recording kept him from ever being able to use some trumped up BS on any of the other teachers too. This was at University of Arizona by the way.

These stories bring up a good discussion. Recording people surreptitiously is illegal in many states. Heard stories of people getting busted trying to prove something someone else did.

We need to keep it so government can't record you without a warrant but if I record you threatening to kill me I shouldn't go to jail for it.

I used this tactic in law enforcement. i always made sure i was on camera so no one could claim foul play. some officers seek to go off camera, I wonder why?

Well in this case recordings are consented to. They are done for uploading the lectures for students, many professors simply don’t press stop until the room is empty.

No, I figured they're advised that they could be recorded beforehand. Not so easy when your boss is all over you at work.
