WOW. We were right back in this thing down only 7 in the third quarter, and this piece of shit ref makes this bullshit call. Camby then leaves in favor of Juwan, and lead balloons to 20.

I'm not putting our loss from yesterday completely on the refs, but they certainly played a part in it.

And why the fuck aren't our coaches jumping up and down in protest?

Is the league gonna issue an apology memo?

FUCK JOEY CRAWFORD. Punk ass bitch.

When I saw the officials listed before tipoff, I told my fiancee "Oh fuck, we're done. These guys are the worst." I was unfortunately proven right.

If Portland didn't have an NBA team, I'd never watch this league.

The whole show is a kunt's trick.

Fact of The Matter:

Sterno and NBA wanted a full seven game series, that officiating crew assured it

Here is what I think happend. Roy committed the foul. He blew the whistle, saw it was Roy, and switched it to another player. But that player was Camby, who this game, we almost needed as much as Roy, if not more so with Roys injury condition.

Yep. Series management. We'll get a shitload of calls on Thursday, then get jobbed in Game 7.

Still doesn't explain why Nash was at the line.

Wow. I remember being confused at the time, but that replay makes it obvious that someone made a HUGE mistake. I really wonder why there wasn't more of a complaint from the Blazers? Camby was never within 5 feet of Nash. It would have been a pathetic call on anyone. The fix is in!

Joey Crawford is without a doubt one of the worst officials. Liek you I am not placing a blame on them, but he is AWFUL.

On another note (I dont have sound at work) but saw this in related videos... did Crawford call this a foul on Billups?!?

Yep. Joey Crawford = Blazers on the short end of every call. Bank on it.

then get jobbed in Game 7.

Here's to hoping they'll ref game 7 like they should have the whole series, Playoff Style! This ticky-tacky BS is not good for the game and it totally ruins the flow.

Dude is just OLD! How the hell can the NBA keep the integrity of the game with such outdated officials?

were they in the penalty? cant remember

Here's what I think happened. Camby raked his arm across Grant Hill's neck as he passed him. Grant Hill didn't seem to notice because he didn't flail like a bitch. Joey Crawford blows the whistle, then lets Nash go to the line because he doesn't actually care who Camby fouled, just that he got to call Foul #4 on Camby. Because he's Stern's lackey.

We definitely needed Camby more than Roy this game. Roy didn't have it anyway and every time Howard came in, we were milk toast.

That's one of the funniest damn things I've ever seen. I guess Crawford doens't only suck during Blazers games.

yep he is just awful all around.

And Obviously Crawford knew it. IF we have a legit center in the game at all times to rebound/block/hold the paint we OWN this team! Man I wish we had G.O.

Does seem like the road team gets jobbed by him though, huh?

I dont even know man. Was SAS the away team with his crap on Duncan? I just cant stand that guy. And I am one in here who doesnt really jump on refs. He is just bad.

So Camby actually fouled Hill, but they screwed up and put Nash on the line instead. I've seen worse.

Camby *barely* touched Hill, who didn't flop and thought the call was on him when Crawford blew the whistle. Joey was going after Camby's 4th foul. That's what's awful. That he let the best free throw shooter in the hisory of the NBA shoot the free throws was just icing.

How did Camby foul Hill? Hill moved into Camby. If anything, it was a moving screen. After I saw this play last night, I knew again the fix was in. This league is so fucking predictable.

AH! That's why Hill immediately whined when Crawford blew his whistle! He knew he was moving on the screen!

A reasonable explanation, but I have two questions. First, where was the foul on Roy? Second, why was Steve Nash shooting the foul shots?

Dunno, it seems to me that the foul that Camby got called for on Hill was essentially the same foul that Oden got called for on Yao during last year's playoffs--impeding another players progress through the lane with one's shoulder. I've seen that call made many times since. Are you suggesting that that's basically the "jaywalking" of foul calls--it only gets whistled when the ref wants to see it?

How was Camby impeding Hill's progress when Hill was clearly setting a screen to free up Amare?

At some point you have to laugh. The Blazers went up huge and then the foul parade started. At one point the Suns were up 23-4 on free throws. I said to my wife, "Watch, now that the game is out of reach, they'll put the Blazers on the line a ton so the box score won't look so blatant." Sure enough, the FT advantage ended up 32-24.

I hate it when the NBA becomes the WWE.
