Every time MLB expands, the sport as a whole suffers from over dilution; resulting in a lack of talent; creating a glorified Minor League system, while seriously screwing up the historical reason for statistics and records overall.
It's only a matter of time before expansion rears its ugly head again.
I foresee a time in the future when MLB has 4 Divisions and 16 Teams, in both the AL & NL.
Or 4 Divisions and 18 or 20 Teams, which will seeiously fkup our sport, though MLB is barely a sport, but more of a business, where athletes have become commodities.
It's only a matter of time before we see teams in some of these cities:
Vancouver
Montreal
Portland
San Jose - 10th largest city by pop. Sacramento (fk Fresno)
Albuquerque / (fk Tucson)
San Antonio - 7th largest US City
Austin 11th largest city by pop.
Fk El Paso and Fk Vegas too!
Salt Lake City
Indianapolis - 14th largest city by population
Columbus Ohio - 15th largest
Omaha
Ok City
Wichita
New Orleans
Richmond or Virginia Beach
Nashville or Louisville
Memphis - 23rd
Charlotte - 17th
Jacksonville
Orlando and or a few other FLA cities
Did I say Fk Vegas!!!
