Ok, so this is somthing I've seen done on another forum I used to frequent, and it was always quite popular. Basically its just like a mini blog, you can tell the other members out there how your day was, what you got up to etc. etc. I guess I'll get things started.

Had a pretty good day yesterday, woke up about 10:00am, chilled out on the computer for a bit, watched the final quater of the Pistons / Wizards game. Then at about 1:30pm 2 of my mates came and picked me up, and we just went and hung out for a bit, went and placed our football bets for the week (
fingersx.gif
) then we went to Nandos, before hitting up the gym for a couple of hours for a nice chest workout.

Got home at about 5:00pm, just chilled out abit more before I had to go to work at 6:00. Work was pretty boring, made a couple of badass looking deserts and salads, and that was about as exciting as it got, lol. Was in rush to get home, as me and one of my mates were going to go out clubbing. So I rushed out the door at 10:30, got home, got ready, had a couple of drinks before catching a cab out to the city at 11:00. Got to this club called 'Portoffice' which I hadnt been to before, a bit small, but it was pretty good, nice atmosphere, alot of dimes, and the chick to male ratio was in our favour
yup.gif
I'm not much of a dancer, so I just wanted to chill out on one of the couches, but eventually my mate dragged me onto the dance floor and I just did my own thing, lol. This club died down at about 2:30am, so we left and went to this other place called 'Fridays' which has the nicest view you'll ever see at a club, I felt a bit intimidated here though as it was packed with Lebanese, Maori, Asian and African gangstas, lol. We chilled here for a bit, just talked to my mate, then he wanted to go dance again, as he did that I just chilled on the side for a bit, and I took a look at the floor and noticed it had become like 80% guys, so I told me friend we should leave. Was 4:00am by then, took us an hour to find a cab, finally got one, got home, went to bed, end of the day for me!

Hahahahaha, so yeah, you get the idea of this topic now, hopefully. I mean you dont have to go as in depth as I did, you could sum things up like in a paragraph or somthing, I just like to write in detail, lol.

i dont feel well so i stayed home and watched football, but rutgers is losing

I woke up at 9 this morning, did some homework, then went to my friend's house. His brother drove us to our basketball game, and we played in the second game of our season. I scored 8 points, and we won a close game which became a blowout in the last period (We play six eight-minute periods). Tweaked my ankle, so I'm trying to walk as little as possible, which explains why I'm sitting in front of the computer lol.

My day wasn't as exciting, but I woke up at around 9, went on the internet for a while, then I played a bit of Madden. I had a sandwich for lunch since my parents were out, and I was too lazy to fix myself something. After that I watched a bit of the Ohio State and Michigan football game. After another couple of hours I went to the mall, stayed there for a while with my friends, but it was really boring so we all went home. And now I'm here on JBB

I met the new manager at my work today (hes my boss). Hes an asshole. And a pedophile. While I was in the back room all alone today he came up to me and touched my shoulder and said "When are you gonna show me what you got?" at first I thought that he meant it sexually then decided that it probably wasn't, I replied: "What do you mean?" and he just laughed in his gay little laugh and walked off. Weird. Later that day he called one of the girls I work with a "firecracker" and he said to another that she "has such a pretty smile". Everyone hates him and now that half of the staff thinks hes a bisexual child molester it'll be even more akward at work. This one guy, Sergio, really hates his guts and the manager was talking to his daughter a little to casually and for a little too long (while he gets on everyone else's ass for slacking off the tiniest bit). I haven't told Sergio because then I'd look like a bitch who likes to stir **** up and I'd be fired as well because I know Sergio would confront him violently. My boss usually only works weekdays (hes been working here for like 3 weeks and I just met him today) but if he keeps coming in on the weekends I'm seriously going to think about quitting after working there for just about 3 months.

My day was pretty good.

Got up at 9:00. Watched TV for about a hour. Went to shower, watched TV again. Ate pancakes for breakfast. Cleaned my teeth. Got dressed.

Then I went to my father's car, we picked up 3 homeboys and he drove us to the cinema. We buyed some soda and popcorn. Watched "Borat", laughed very much at it.;D

Then we went to the downtown. Buyed some pizza and ate. Then we went to the only shop where you can find "G-Unit Clothing", "Dada", "Snoop Digget Dogg (or smth)" clothes or shoes. What I'm tryin' to say that we went almost to the only shop, where we can buy original ghetto clothes.

We didn't buy anything, cuz the prices were big. But I'm prolly gonna buy some really cool Jordan sneakers from there.

Then we chilled in the town, find a girl. He joined us, we had a great time etc.
Went to the bus station, it drove us to our homeplace. We were there a lil' bit and then I went home.

Now I studied for 30 minutes and now I'm listening to rap.

peace.

Man, am I the only one who doesn't really care about name brands all that much unless it's for shoes (and even then I don't care that much, as long as it looks nice/ quality is decent)?

G-Unit is "original ghetto" clothing since when? I'll just rock anything that looks nice on me, as long as the quality isn't really really cheap. That doesn't mean you have to buy clothes from the dollar store, but you can still buy quality clothes from decent stores that are half the price of shirts from "original ghetto clothing" stores.

It really makes me wonder when people buy a plain golf-shirt with a little logo of something near the chest for like 80 dollars, when I can get blank or even nicely patterened golf-shirts for $15-20 dollars, and with decent quality.
Plus, I save money anyway, I really don't care.

By "original" I mean that they are an official trademark. Not some pointless shirt which has "SLIM SHADY" on it.
And clothes like that aren't very high-qualited (qualited ? or just high-quality?).

You bought pizza.

Anyways, I have an ISU due on Wednesday, my topic is outsourcing. Anyone who knows anything about, feel free to shed some of your insight on it, even though I got most of it covered. Basically I'm staying home all day to finish my ISU, and tommorow I'm staying home (P.D. Day) to finish my english ISU.

I'm not into no name brands for whatever reason. Everything I wear is brand name, I just feel...fresher wearing them. Though, I don't pay retail price, everything I get is for much cheaper. I'll never buy a lacoste golf shirt for 80 dollars, but I ended up getting 4 of them for 140 (real) from a hook up. I can't remember the last time I paid retail price for something that's generally expensive or pricey.

But yeah, it was funny. There were ghetto clothes everywhere and suddenly it came SYSTEM OF A DOWN from the radio.

Saturday wasnt bad

Watch my brother play cricket for a bit

then went to a pub with a chick I like who doesn't like me with her friends, that was kinda weird as I am not a talkative person so I felt left out at times.

Then as we were leaving U2 walked in after their concert they had in melbourne. So that was cool.

Yesterday was all right day for me.

I had to wake up at 7 because I had a community ball game at 9. I left the house around 8:15 and got there around 8:40. I was shooting the lights out in warm up and i got comfortable. I was against a team that I had all ready beat by 18 last game. I ended up with 8 points including a circus shot Dwyane Wade style. I basically drove it in, and my main goal was to just draw the foul so i spun 180, drew some contact, shot backwards and somehow my shot went in. We were down by 12 at the half, had a comeback in the second half but ended up losing by 5.

After the game, my parents dropped me off to go chill at the mall with some friends. Basically just chilled, and had lunch there. I went around the whole mall looking for green shoes that would match my community ball jersey but couldn't find a good quality pair.

Got home around 4 and I took a nap cause I was dead tired. I woke up around 6 and I headed over to my uncles house to watch the Pacquiao vs. Morales boxing match on pay-per view (Filipino Pride! LOL). Pacquiao won in a 3rd round knockout. Stayed at my uncles til around 11 then I went home. After I got home I watched some ball highlights and then I went to bed.

Why would you wear ghetto clothing in Estonia? There's no real "ghettos" there anyways, so why bother?

Today was aight. I woke up at 10. My dad had to go to work and my mom went shopping so I had to watch my younger sisters and brother. My brother is only 1 (future of the NBA) and he was crying like hell. I was reading posts at JBB while he was crying. My mom came home and he stopped crying. Then I went to the mall for a few hours, came home and played Smackdown vs Raw 2007 for like 2-4 hours. And here I am now, posting this.

I have to agree with Junoon/Karma. It really dont matter about brand unless you're talking about shoes. I really dont care about brands when it comes to clothes. If a shirt looks good on me, no matter if its G-Unit, American Eagle, etc. I will buy it. Also, you have to learn to save money. I dont know if you guys have heard of Ross, but I like buying clothes from there. The place has some pretty cheap name brand clothes. You can buy; Nike, Ecko, Fubu, SouthPole, and all these brands for like 15-20 dollars. I hate it when people say that they buy like for example a jacket for $50. Why spend so much money on a jacket? Like me, I bought a nice $20 SouthPole jacket from Ross. Its all about saving money. I buy like a famous brand and save about $30 from the other person.

But when it comes to shoes, I really dont care about money, because you know you wanna buy some nice shoes. I try to spend like around $70-$90 when it comes to shoes. Also, I prefer buying Nike, Jordan, or Reebok shoes. I really dont worry about the money when it comes to shoes.

Anyways, my day was nice.
I woke up around 9:00 o'clock. Got up, ate some chocolate pancakes, brushed my teeth, and took a shower. Then I played 2k7 for about an hour, until my friend came over. We hooped for a little bit, and then we went to cut some person's yard. We cut a guy's yard for $30. We both split the 30. Then after that, we went to eat at McDonalds. On our way back, we hooped some people up at the park. Then I got home and ate dinner. And now I am here at JBB. Not the best day, but got enough for a Sunday. I am glad we have a week off for Thanksgiving. I really didnt feel like going to school.

Man, I wish I could still do that.

I remember when I was like 10 I had just gotten a PS1 (after 3 years of Sega Genesis and playing Shaq Fu, the greatest game ever made
laugh.gif
) and I bought NBA Live 99 with Antoine Walker on the cover (Antoine frickin Walker! Of course he was much better built and not as fat, but he still did the shimmy time to time). I remember I used to play that game like almost every other hour during the summertime...I also remembering creating the 1998 rookie class (cause they didn't include rookies that year) and giving Vince Carter 99 ratings in everything. Man, I had too much time on my hands back then.

I swear to God, NBA Live 99 and 2001 (and 2000 I assume, but I didn't own it), owns NBA Live 2003, 2005 and 2006. I especially hated NBA Live 2003, I thought it was like playing NBA Jam all over again, just without the 90 feet jump-dunks.

In memory of NBA Live 99, I'd like to post this picture:

By the way, the graphics on Live 99 blew 2001 and 2002 on the PS1 out of the water.

Not really, I wear all brands from Southpole to G-Unit to Phat Farm to American Eagle to AeroPostale. It really doesnt matter to me about the brand I wear. As long as something looks good on me, I'll wear it.

Can we try stay on topic guys? This about how your day was, not what kind of shoes you wear.

^^ Dude this happens in every thread. We are talking about our day and also we are talking about brands and saving money and stuff like that which has something to do with our day.

This is a post about shoes, not how your day was, or what you got upto during your day.

If you want to talk about shoes, by all means go ahead and make a topic about it.
