How's Lillard feeling right now?

People claiming dame un loyal or running aldridge out make me laugh. When he hit 0.9 he didnt take his shirt off and say yeah thats me. He grabbed the mic and acknowledged rip city.

You really have to wonder. Every starting player who took the floor with him last year is gone. Does it make him feel like the last passenger on a sinking ship, or is he happy that the team now belongs to him, even though it may be a bad team?

Or is he just deliriously happy that he is now rich beyond his wildest dreams?
Nobody had the Hawks even making the playoffs last season without superstars but good coaching and team play can lead to success. I think Dame is aware of what it takes to get there. Very few goals Lillard has set for himself have not been obtained. This young Blazer crop of new guys may just be the Hawks of last season.

That's right, & LA ran & tackled him after he made that shot because he was so happy. It appears they were on the same page at that point, if not buddy-buddy. The tide seemed to turn when Dame didn't make the AS game last season. LA had just come back & put off surgery the week before for the sake of the team, & he was being celebrated by the fans for taking such a risk with his FA contract on the line. Then Dame doesn't get in & takes to social media to roast everyone from WC coaches to the commish. It created quite a storm & you could see LA resented it. He had to deal with his own AS snubbing years earlier, which we heard privately crushed him even though he didn't say much about it publicly. Dame's approach . . . don't think LA liked it at all. He was being interviewed (before Dame was finally added via injury exception) & the 1st question they asked was what he thought about Dame getting snubbed. His response was something like I just told him to hang in there & remember what our team goals are, and to support his teammates that were headed to AS weekend (Wesley for the 3 pt). It was obvious LA was irritated that instead of talking about his 4th straight AS appearance, what a great opportunity for Matthews, or how well the team was doing all anybody wanted to talk about was Damian's AS snubbing. I don't blame Dame either. Addidas was promoting the AS addition of his signature shoe assuming he'd be an AS. It was an embarrasment for him. It's just an unfortunate thing.

Ive been a cynic for so long, when I saw that live I thought, "Shrewd business move, Dame." Now I'm thinking it was actually genuine. What a wonderful surprise.

Assuming you are correct and you very well could be. Man the fuck up. You are going to give up over someone getting more attention than you? You get millions of dollars to play a game. I get paid $12.50 an hour to get verbally and sometimes physically assaulted by drunks and ass holes. There are thousand of people In this country that make 30-50k a year to get shot at, spit on, and blown up over seas. And you make 20mil a year to play a game and you are insulted because your team mate feels he deserved to be there with you and spoke up instead of bowing to your greatness. Get fucked.
