I have only seen the Blazers a few times this year, and Raef only played in one of the games I watched (and it was only like 7 minutes). I know he hasn't been playing this year, and I know there is no room for him really with Z-Bo, Przy, LaMarcus, and Magloire. But I'm just making this thread to check up on an old Celtic. I didn't mind Raef at all in Boston, in fact I kind of liked him. He's a class act, a good locker room guy, he doesn't really complain about his role, and he plays hard. Too bad his knees wrecked his career, he could have been an All-Star in this league.

Hopefully you guys can get Magloire out of there and maybe open up a few situational minutes for Raef.

I remember his days with Boston. He was a Raptor killer and had a lot of 3s on us. But to bad I don't hear much about him now on portland.

hes gettin hardly any minutes, if any at all, while Jamaal Magloire air balls free throws. (did it tonight in a loss vs heat)

I would like to see Magloire not play as many minutes and give some time for Lafrents. Haven't seen him play for a long time and I would like to see him again. But then I've been hearing the Magloire might be traded.

poor raef, haven't seen him play but judging by his stats he's suckin it up in garbage time.16 games1.6 PPG1.8 RPG8.9 MPG.237 FG%.083 FG%If it weren't for injuries this guy could have been a premiere player in this league. Coming out of college, he could really do it all. Run the floor, shoot the 3, rebound, block shots. I remember he was a matchup nightmare at Kansas. Oh well, for one thing, he's been more effective that Theo Ratliff, who's career is probably done.
