hope its not serious.

Josh Huff, Oregon's deep-threat receiver, suffered what appeared to be an injury to his left knee midway through practice Friday as he attempted to adjust to a long, Darron Thomas pass in the Moshofsky Center.

There was no contact on the play.

Huff was open deep, and dove for the ball. He couldn't bring it in, and then remained on the ground, grabbing his left knee with both hands.

The sophomore finally was helped up and assisted off the field. He wasn't putting weight on his left leg. He didn't return.

It's hard to say how seriously Huff is hurt. Oregon coach Chip Kelly brushed off questions in a post-practice interview session, saying he didn't see the end of the play and hadn't talked to trainers.

Huff is one of three starters in Oregon's base, three-receiver offense. The other two are Lavasier Tuinei and Justin Hoffman. The Ducks lost starters D.J. Davis and Jeff Maehl, both seniors last season.

We were so unbelievably lucky last season with so few injuries. I hope this isn't a payback year.

We DESERVED a lucky season in that respect after the crap we've had to deal with.

still nothing... you know how CK is about injuries. I think Walter Thurmond was listed as day to day still with a "Lower Body Injury" all season after his torn ACL.

Josh wearing a soft brace and doing some light running in today's practice :ghoti:
