OT Hulk Hogan dead at 71

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

Not sure anyone else did as much to put the WWF on the map than HH.
You could probably go into the middle of nowhere overseas and see a red 23 or a yellow HH top 99% of the time before you saw any other celeb/sportsman anything.

He had some issues, like we all do, but some of the comments in this thread are a lil disappointing.
Hopefully everyone can live up to the standards they hold others to.

RIP and thoughts to the people closest to him.

I hold up people to a not being racist standard so fuck him.

No I meant his kids dont talk to him. His daughter wouldn't talk to either of her parents. Not sure about the son.

Oooh. I thought your typo was "then don't talk to him". That makes more sense

This forum has a total lack of respect or compassion problem

I realize Hulk Hogan had his issues ( telling the truth , raciest at times etc ) but he was a human being and had a family and friends that loved him and some of you just cannot help piling on and being classless.

I have never met him but I was fan of his wrestling days for me WWF/E - 87" ish to his last match with the Rock in early 2000's but I will admit he was a flawed human but we all are and one day we will all meet our maker ( whoever you believe or do not believe ) but unless he did Hitler or such type things and to my knowledge he did not he deserves even a little compassion or at very least if you cannot say anything good then say nothing at all.
I don’t know what’s worse, this post or the fact that you got my dawg to LIKE it. WTF!
“He was telling the racist truth” “and people on HERE are being classless”? HOLY SHIT!
That’s like when the orange man said there were “good people on both sides there”

@Ripcity4life77 get a grip man. You talk crazy shit about Cronin who by all accounts is an actual good guy. Then you have the audacity to chastise posters in this forum for expressing their thoughts about a person in Terry Bollea who had plenty of things to actually dislike just because the guy just passed away?!? I don't know, you seem pretty unstable to be worrying about the mote in the eyes of others.[/QUOTE]

Great post!

When I was a little kid I watched Portland Wrestling on KPTV with my grandpa. It was pretty great. I think it was the only time he ever stayed up past 8:30 p.m. LOL
God we loved that every Saturday night. Even loved the commercials

HCP you have a problem with me -- give it too me

I am sick of your crap -- i have not done a fucking thing to you and your attacking me / coming at me like it 's cool

let's work it out I am trying to be better but you attacking me at every turn is bullshit and while I will TRY and not be an asshole -- a person can only be pushed so far -- not a fucking doormat either

SummerSlam looking good

I am not saying you have to kiss hogan's ass cause I know he had issues but that does not mean you have to openly shit on him either just do not say a word . I can respect how some of you feel and part of me understands it and respects it but two wrongs do not make a right.

Please understand that I am acting with the utmost restraint right now.

I never watched restlin' and never cared one way or another for him, nor do I know what he is or is not, but that is some very questionable reasoning there. Do we mourn Epstein or is it ok to point that he was a piece of shit human being despite the fact that he is dead. If it is OK, where is the line where you can start telling the truth about a piece of shit that he was was a piece of shit after his death? If Epstein is not above the line who is, is it Pol Pot? Stalin? Hitler? Where is the line?

Frankly, if someone was a piece of shit during his life and cause strife and hurt people... well, his demise does not make his transgressions forgivable or anything of that nature.

When youre a racist you dont get the benefit of the doubt and I will DAMN sure speak my mind.

He loses all compassion. Stop defending a racist just because he died. You wouldn't and shouldn't defend one who is living, so why would you do it because he died?

Hes racist. He literally said so himself. I will never mourn a racist who died. And neither should anyone else.

And the funny thing is, I still have all the compassion in the world for people who arent racist.

Also a reminder that 'Terry' heard backstage rumours that Jesse Ventura was organizing the wrestlers, went straight to Vince and ratted them out.

To this day both the WWE and UFC are not unionized.

Should be noted that Terry let his fuck-up teenage son, who had at least four tickets for street racing Terry's cars, the last one being about three weeks prior, continue to use his Supra and Viper, up until the point he wrecked one, resulting in his passenger suffering brain injuries that require him to have 24/7 care for life.

This is a wild take.

So did I! My great grandma and I would stay up late. I think it would start around 11 pm, right?

Me too!
Playboy Buddy Rose & Billy Jack Haynes & Sandy Barr

He meant that Hogan was famous for embellishing things/making shit up , not being "telling the racist truth".

Those are two independent things.

Hogan long has lost the benefit of the doubt when it comes to how people react to his death.

It's not like he made a 1 time mistake and cheated on his wife and spent the rest of his life making it up and owning up to it and never doing it again.
Ffs, just *last year* he made comments about Kamala Harris and which kind of "Indian" she was.

The only people who make that joke, let alone do it in front of people while being recorded, are POS.

I mean ffs, when the wrestling community and fans blacklist you....

What a bunch of scumbags in this thread. You guys don't know anything about how supposedly awful he was. Just cancel culture jerks. All the wrestlers have been saying what a good guy he was. Ric Flair was in tears. I hope you all never do anything wrong in your life you saints.

As the product of the 80's, he was a hero when I was a kid. RIP brother!

Yes we do. We have eyes and ears.

And we're adults who can separate someone being famous for scripted entertainment, and someone is *on tape* saying racist shit.

Jesus Christ, get some air.
