Human feet washing ashore?

They've been washing ashore in the Northwest for years, but I don't buy the theories in this article: http://abcnews.go.com/US/foot-washes-ashore-northwes-coast-11th-time/story?id=14420250

It seems crazy to think they haven't deemed any of the ELEVEN (11) feet found in the NW to be suspicious. Any theories?

Volunteers find human foot in sneaker at Centennial Park

Volunteers picking up trash at Centennial Park off Elliott Bay found a human foot washed up on the shore Tuesday morning, according to Port of Seattle police.

The volunteers found the foot, fitted with a white New Balance sneaker, about 11 a.m. near the Pier 86 grain facility, spokesman Peter McGraw said. They called authorities, who removed the foot from the site.

The foot has been turned over to the King County Medical Examiner’s office for investigation and identification, McGraw said.

No additional information is available.

Errant feet washing ashore have baffled investigators in recent years. Eleven feet have washed up on the shores of British Columbia and Washington between 2007 and 2011. Another foot was discovered at Ocean Beach in San Francisco in September.

I don't know why it freaks me out when they include the brand of shoe in the story, but it does. And, they usually include the shoe's brand name in the story.

One of the theories it's happening so much is that running shoes are so buoyant that the foot is found. Does this mean there's a ton of feet out there that sunk because the deceased was wearing flip flops, hiking boots or anything other than running shoes?

Those people should be shoe-ins for Obamacare! Anything to help them get a leg up since they don't seem capable of pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.
