Looks like those doctors fixed him up, a lot. He still doesn't look normal and I don't believe he'll lead a normal life, but still his condition seems to be much better than what it was.

Yeah I saw a program on Discovery Health (best.channel.ever) about this dude. A doctor came to his village, and after a biopsy, determined that it was a severe fungal growth. Unfortunately the show ended with them not being able to find/contact this guy to begin treatment, but I'm glad they finally caught up with him.

I've never seen anything like this, if it was just a picture I wouldn't have believed it was real. I suppose a treeman would be an Ent? like in LOTR.
