Big deal, the guard has to be there. Plus the storm isn't even hitting D.C.

Half the people in the company I work for are in D.C. It is being hit really hard. Pouring rain and 60 MPG wind gusts. They closed the office today and tomorrow.

When HCP says big deal, it makes me wonder if he has read 75% of his own posts.

I just hopped on to post the same photo. And people in another thread wonder if these people deserve admiration? Breathtaking.

Is it somehow important to pretend to guard the unknown soldier's bones during a hurricane? I guess it is impressive that they are doing their job, but their job today is really pretty stupid.

I agree. I know it won't come across politically correct enough to many, and get yelled at for it, but seems to me there's a line somewhere between honorable and foolishness. Risking your lives for our country.Admirable. Guarding that tomb in a terrible storm?

My understanding is that the post is one of highest honor. And that the photos we're seeing today were taken in September.

Was just reading that. Interesting. Dislike when people do that to make a point.
Saw this as well in an article
when morning funerals were completed, the Old Guard soldiers were still on duty but had moved into an enclosure covered by a green awning known as "the box," about 20 feet away from the tomb, according to regiment spokesman Maj. John Miller

WTC construction site.

Per HCP on Twitter. Looks kinda small for WTC site.

And on the 29th day, God smoted the heathenistic Liberals.

This is what you get for worshiping your false god Obama!
