...before the rest of the league figures out that he will exercise his player option for 2012-13.

Agree. Stop the fucking madness. This experiment failed. You move on. You can still put yourself in a position to retool on the fly and come out with a team that has a better future in 2013. We're not winning anything this season, so move the guys that aren't in the long term plans.

I agree.

But hopefully we can get more talent in return than a Dante Cunningham type.

Well thank god we've got a GM to ... wait, what?

Gerald plays great - Blazers blow teams out

Gerald plays crappy - Blazers play crappy and lose

He's the deciding factor in games right now

Because McMillian plays him 35m regardless. Need to bench him more on road games and give nico more time

He had no option this game but in general I agree.

Nic should be starting though, whether for Wallace or Wesley it doesn't matter. Can't really be too picky with Nate right now.

Hold onto him and let him walk. Get the cap space. Make a run at Eric Gordon or Deron Williams.

No because he would have then have the choice of opting is next year, IMO much better to try to trade him now and get some value

What do you trade him for that doesn't eat into our cap space?

Player changes won't make any difference as long as we have the same coach.

Wes and Gerald for Monta and Wright, what do U really think we will get with our capspace, rather use it for trade and we will have capspace with this trade

Ideally, a piece that is "likely" better than what we will get in free agency. that is, I'd love to make an offer for Deron, but I don't think he's coming here. If we could get a player in trade for Wallace better than a more likely free agency scenario, you do it.
