This is where I'm at. This team is committed on D in a way that none of our teams with Dame as the leader were. There's no way that he comes back as mobile as he was when he left and I feel like that could make him unplayable on D.I love Dame as much as anyone, but he DOES NOT deserve to steal anyone's playing time or thunder.
I don’t think Kawhi is coming here. Love to have a player that good but it’s pretty unlikely he would ever come to Portland.Dame will want a training camp with the guys before he shares a court with them. There's an excellent chance we could land Kawhi Leonard this offseason now that they've blown their playoff shot

On offense I don't want him walking the ball down the court and looking for a pick and roll/pop with Clingan on any of our set plays let alone the 50-75% that he's used to.
I love Dame... he's my favorite player of all time but with that said I am really hoping he's ready to play a role for our team next season and not be a lot more than a sharp shooter.
Maybe he'll surprise me with the way he'll adapt his game both to his new physical reality and to our new style of play but if not I do hope he's ready to play a role that is a huge reduction from what he has had in the past.

You’ve met Devin Booker?
Hey now!I voted "Happiness" because it was the closest option to "Hardon."
Is it? Outside of his assist #s, and he's been asked to play PG far more than Lavine, IMO, what does Booker do significantly better than Lavine, to where one is looked at as a franchise guy, and the other a pariah and awful contract, generally?Book is generally over-rated, but comparing him to Lavine is going too far the other way.
When Book gets over 70 million that contract will most definitely be a pariah. Is it? If this team goes into San Antonio and wins game 1 and 2 why on earth would Dame come back for game 3?I think Dame comes back if we win two games. He'd make his debut at the Rose Garden and be in a position to push the series to a game 7.
I don't think hes going to play a minute before then though. He doesn't want to play just to be part of a sweep.
