I am outraged about voter suppression.
I am outraged that more than 1/3 and growing of public school students are not allowed to learn about anything that makes white people uncomfortable.
I am outraged that Tennessee only allows teaching about the Holocaust if it isn't unpleasant.
I am outraged that students get shot in schools but can't get Covid shots because freedumb.
I am outraged that schools can't talk about LGBTQ+ people.
I am outraged about book banning/burning.
I am outraged about attacks on trans youth.
I am outraged when unarmed Black people get shot by cops.
I am outraged by sanctimonious men telling women that we are nothing but incubators for any stray rapist sperm.
I am outraged that a mob storming the Capitol to overturn an election is called political discourse but Colin Kaepernick taking a knee is called outrageous.
I am outraged by overpaid white people assuming no Black woman could be qualified for the Supreme Court.
I am outraged by cruelty to animals.
I am outraged by environmental destruction.
I am outraged by antiscience nonsense from antivaxxers to climate change deniers being given a platform by elected officials and major media.
I can even be outraged by bad chocolate.

I am not in the least bit outraged about cartoon characters, Potato Head, or what consenting adults do together in private.

I am outraged by bullies.
I am outraged by drunk drivers.
I am outraged by people looking for a fight on the light rail.
I am outraged by people who come to work sick.
I am outraged by people shooting other people.
I am outraged by people driving at night with their brights on.
I am outraged by people who steal.
I am outraged by people who do stupid illegal and dangerous stuff while high on meth.
I am outraged by Donald Trump and his kids who have no idea what's in the Constitution.
I am outraged by my computer whenever it goes bonkers such as forgetting my passwords (oh no, it couldn't be me).

Agree with almost everything on @Lanny's list except people sometimes have to come to work sick because they get fired if they miss days. Outrage against employer.

I am also outraged by those who define Christianity by how many of their neighbors they hate (gays, Jews, Muslims, immigrants).
I am outraged by children taken from parents at the border.
I am outraged that four white men who knowingly cast ballots in the name of dead relatives do they could vote for Trump twice got probation, but a Black woman who completed a prison term, turned her life around, was told in writing but incorrectly by probation officer she could now register to vote since her parole had ended was sentenced to six years in prison.

I am outraged Kevin McCarthy is a politician. There are others but it is exhausting to list the Republican party. .

I'm outraged by the complete prejudice towards the inraged,

With all due apologies to George Harrison, we're living in a Marxist world.

I never denied there are other views. There are also facts. Florida Republican explained that the don't make white people uncomfortable bill doesn't prohibit teaching about slavery, but they can't say one "race" were the enslavers and another the enslaved.
Except that happens to be true.

Holy shit, you are a marksman when it comes to target practice. I'll bet you hit the bullseye every time.

What idiotic brainless ass hole son of a bitch would say otherwise?

I am outraged by the recent Blazer trades.
Damn it, so am I. Seems like they were made by using the thought process of a third grader.

In this case we need to make it a law that employers must provide two weeks of sick pay every year to all their employees and then my statement makes more sense.

Florida Republicans

So, let's just say I need to be uncomfortable. Is it then a simple matter of having CRT taught in every school, and every book known to man on the matter in our school libraries? Does that then make everything OK?

As I had mentioned earlier, there are many other views. Citing Florida Republicans is just a platitude of sorts.

Marxism is the new false flag to plant upon critical race theory

Markxism, how did that get in here?

Neither Marxism nor critical race theory are being taught in public schools. But the right has labeled any teaching about racial issues critical race theory.
The proposed law includes schools and diversity programs in private business. Any parent, student or employee who feels uncomfortable can block teaching and she for damages.
I am outraged that history has to be made comfortable. History isn't a fairy tale. People did not live happily ever after.

CRT is not being taught in any public school. History is and that history should make you uncomfortable. It is the least we can do as white men, to feel uncomfortable about the atrocities that occured in our countries past at the hands of other white men and against black people.

We should feel uncomfortable that black people were kept as slaves, treated as sub human, beaten, murdered, chased by white men in masks, hung, dragged behind trucks, made to live in different parts of town, go to different schools, hospitals, stores, drink from different fountains.

Those are the subjects of books in our schools libraries that you want to remove. Books I would be glad to have there for my son to read and come to me with questions, and I would gladly sit and share those terrible truths with him.

By the way, ABM, I am not a man. There are a lot of books known to women. I have read quite a few.

I know what the history is and I'd rather be in the trenches, locking arms with my Black brothers and sisters, than simply being uncomfortable. Some close friends of ours, who happen to be Black, were over at our new home yesterday, and we don't think twice about all of this. Actually, @THE HCP knows them, as well. Sanford, his wife, and a very cool 22-year-old kid they've "adopted. The kid was informing me all about NFT's. Fascinating stuff! They're moving to Nashville from Houston. We're helping them find a home here. Anyway, all that to say, I think a lot of people are getting hung up on some of this....and that there are factions out there making sure we drop our heads and drown ourselves in shame. I say poppycock to all of that.

Oh, there is a lot more to do than just feel uncomfortable. That's why I said it's the least, but conservatives in states like Florida don't even want to do that.

Its just as important to teach our kids history as it is to be in the trenches. That is being taken away. History is being erased by not allowing it to be taught or removing books on it from libraries. By giving it other names to monsterize it. You might know it, but many that come after us will not. They will be taught to be ignorant. Soon, history books in red states will be void of any mention of slavery, segregation, or the fight for civil rights.

And you are upset because you have to feel uncomfortable
