Unbelievable. They havent even won a single GAME together yet!! Bosh has three playoff victories to his name in 7 years. Wade has 1 title. LeBron has none. Without Kobe, they couldn't win gold in 2006 World Championships.

Jesus Christ, would it kill these guys to have a LITTLE humility?? This hubris of theirs is gonna bite them in the ass, I think. LeBron promised all this stuff to Cleveland and didn't deliver at all. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they don't win a single championship together. Seriously.

Best threesome? Try Jordan/Pippen/Rodman, Magic/Kareem/Worthy, Bird/McHale/Parrish, etc...

I think they are likely the greatest threesome- We have two of the best three players in the NBA in Wade/Lebron and a solid all star in Bosh. The only other time a team may have had the two best players was Kobe/Shaq and there was a big drop off after those two.

I'm looking forward to seeing Miami playing and think they will win a title within their first three seasons- two mid-level exceptions may be necessary to add some depth, but some veterans may take the minimum to get a title before they retire.

They need just a center, since it seems like they will have point guard in either Chalmers or Fisher.

Chris Bosh is a fine player, but he is no Hall of Famer like Worthy, or McHale, or Baylor, or Pierce even.

Bosh is better than Pierce or Worthy. Paul Pierce was not on a Hall of Fame track until he began playing for titles in 2008. Worthy was never a superstar...he made the Hall of Fame as a very good player who played on an amazing team.

It's not clear that James/Wade/Bosh is the best trio ever, but they might be. It depends on whether Bosh had a break out season to a new level last year, or if it was just a career year.

I respectfully disagree about Pierce. I think he is one of the most underrated players of the past decade. IMO, he's a step above Roy.

As for this current trio, I hope they're all talk and hype. A more serious group would say squat and prove it on the court.

Every 3some that even warrants consideration includes a great center, IMO.

I quite like Pierce (and Ray Allen)...and I could have seen a Hall of Fame case for both even prior to 2008, though I don't think either would have gotten in without a championship. I would say he's slightly better than Roy, due to better defense. I think in terms of production, a prime Pierce was similar caliber to Roy.

Pat Riley: Joker (depending how ridiculous his haircut will be)
