Andre Miller is 25th all-time in assists.

23. Norm Nixon 6,386
24. Jerry West 6,238
25. Andre Miller 6,229

Gramps...

Pretty amazing, especially if you realize how many bad teams/organizations he has been on.

He could concievably get to 7000 and finish 14 all time

11. Lenny Wilkens 7211
12. Terry Porter 7160
13. Tim Hardaway 7095
14. Bob Cousy* 6955

If he plays 80 games a year for 2010 and 2011 and averages 5/game, then retires, that's around 1200 more assists. That's over 7000 right there. And that's pretty conservative, IMO. He sure looks like he's got more than 2.5 years of game left.

...that Shaq was 5th on the all-time NBA scoring list until they mentioned it on SportsCenter last night. I doubt that he'll stick around long enough to pass Wilt though.

I also didn't know that Dr. J was over 30K when his ABA points were factored in. Stud.

Just thought I'd toss in more "I didn't know..." type stuff.

Yup. He doesn't rely on his athleticism to make plays. He's got several more years left in him if he wants to come off the bench. If Brevin Knight could hang on all those years, so could Dre.

And to think people we saying "he doesn't fit into our offense"....

To be fair, it was a professional coach with ~20 years of pro experience who gets paid for his opinion. Not some clueless forum poster like us. :tsktsk:

I was speaking about the clueless forum posters like us...but now that you bring it up. Nate is an idiot.

Strickland was the man.
Loved his game.

One of the most underrated players ever IMO.
Deserved to have gone to the all star game a few times. Especially when he was nearly averaging 20 and 10.
