I find it kind of amusing how many clamored for it, and now are done so quickly. Buckle up folks!I was worried a lot of people wouldn't be able to handle a multi-year rebuild. It's only been 3 months...
Not caring is the ideal way to handle a multi-year rebuild!I was worried a lot of people wouldn't be able to handle a multi-year rebuild. It's only been 3 months...
January 12th, 2022: 16-24 (10th in the West) - In the play-inIt is going to take some time. Oddly, they are about as close to the Play In this year as they were last year and the year before.
I just shut off the 5th Blazer game this season and this one was after the first qtr....they have no identity and have lost what spark they had the first dozen games. There is actual entertainment I'd prefer to watch than these guys flailing around chucking bricks. Ant will never be an alpha team leaderNope, will keep doing the predictions game. Just have a lot less interest in watching/following the Blazers. I don't know if they could do better at promoting apathy if they tried.

It's not the 3 months into this rebuild.
It's being in the 5th year of a steady decline.
Bingo. For a reference point, look at what Will Hardy and the Jazz have been up to. There is simply no reason why POR can be doing half of what the Jazz are doing since the tourney.

In my eyes, the trading of Dame was a clear shift, but I hear you. Nobody was calling it a rebuild when we were playing Denver in the playoffs, but some were saying a rebuild would be better.
Regardless of Dame on the roster or not, if you are tanking for picks, it’s a rebuild. Which is what we did the last two years.
This is the third year. Not the third month.
Just think how good being dead is going to be!It's a vacation, I'm fucking loving it. No stress!
That's only because Wiseman turned out to be shit! Not true. The Warriors tanked for picks without rebuilding.
This kid made me laugh. I don't know if he was a Blazer fan, but based on the emotion behind it, I'd say yes.
Not true. The Warriors tanked for picks without rebuilding.
We certainly haven't been tanking for 5 years.

I just sent this to my season ticket holder rep:
Hi (season ticket holder rep),
My family and I have been season ticket holders for a long time (1974). I've enjoyed the ups and downs.
I must say, after watching the performance of the team so far this year, I don't think I've ever been so down on the Blazers.
I understand the rebuilding process. I expected losses this year. I truly don't care about the W and Ls. But the way the Blazers have been playing is hard to watch. Just in the last 7 games, 6 of the games the Blazers lost by more than 20! Including the embarrassing 62-point loss to OKC. But if that wasn't a wake-up call, the Blazers followed that with a 23-point uninspired loss to Minnesota down at one point by 36 points.
I know the Blazers have had some injuries. All teams deal with injuries. I know the Blazers are young. There are multiple teams just as young as the Blazers doing significantly better. The excuses are easy to rattle off. Where is the accountability? The players look uninspired. These are young players that should be showing signs of growth. They appear to be regressing.
The ticket value I paid at the start of the season has plummeted. The only way to get rid of the tickets I can't use is to give them away (not sell them). And in many cases, it's hard to find someone who wants the tickets even for free.
I guess the harshest thing I could say at the moment is - I'm losing interest and just don't care.
What does Wiseman ending up as a bust have to do with anything? That had nothing to do with the Warriors losing in the play-in to the Lakers the next year. They weren’t rebuilding. That wasn’t a rebuild year. That's only because Wiseman turned out to be shit!
Fair question. It was to vent.Valid feelings.
Honest question: What is the realistic outcome from this email? Do the ticket reps send it to Cronin/Billups? Are you looking for a discount? Looking for a specific response?
Luckily Steph didn't demand a trade, so it worked out.Not true. The Warriors tanked for picks without rebuilding.

I don't expect to get anything of substance from the Blazers. To be honest, in the past when I've voiced any feelings of dissent (which is not very often), their feedback was simply - "We don't care. Don't sign up to be a season ticket holder then." Fair enough. It's hard to swallow the price increases over the past few seasons (yes, they've raised prices significantly over the past 5 seasons) with such terrible results/performance from the team.
At the end of the day, I'll continue to be a Blazer fan. I love it that my son comes home from OSU to go to as many of the games he can with me. That right there is worth the price of the tickets.
Valid feelings.

And Seattle is full of billionaires and fans who would pay to see this.If he isn't the only season ticket holder sending these emails, which I'm sure he's not, the Blazers will have to listen. Season ticket holders and other fans are the life blood of this franchise. No fans no money no team.
