There is a time when all teams get over the hump. Let’s be real here man. Based on that logic, no team would ever win anything except previous champs.
Gsw was nothing until they won. and they had young guys.
Denver was nothing until they won and they had young guys for the most part.
You didn’t address Any of the specifics of why I think they are better.

Hobert is on his 11th season. May his ninth( might have those reversed) Conley is a vet.

Icing me up with someone else? Quote the displeasure in Billups? I was sold on him when he was hired and I haven’t given up on him as of yet, because he hasn’t had consistency in the lineups.
With that said, the schemes, hustle, gritty play, etc is a glaring concern and yes I would hold him responsible for it.

Well their main pieces that will take them to the next level is Edwards and Kat. So they only go as far as they take them so yes young with those two guys.

good point about Gobert and Conley but Gobert was exposed badly last year in the playoffs and it will happen again imo.

So comes down to Edwards and Kat imo.

That’s just you, but many posters were on Billups to start the year too and posted in the Billups thread they will eat crow because Billups has the guys playing hard and etc.

I also mentioned that once we start to lose again the negative Nancy’s will come out bashing him again and here we are.

this team is young and green. We played with Ant out to start the year, lost Williams and now Ayton for a long stretch. We are starting two rookies in Scoot and Camara.

we both know Pop is a good coach and Monty too, why do they have a worse record than us? It’s because talent can only get you so far.

Not sure what people exceptions are with this team but it’s too high if you think a new coach can change things around this year or soon. Like I said look at Pop and Monty, talent only gets you so far and are talent is super green with lots of experience and growth needed. It will take lots of time

Camara has been giving the chance to start and showed flashes of a great defender.

Sharpe has been playing lots better this year, but he was leading the NBA in minutes played and had some injuries with his hip lately, but overall has been wayy better than last year.

To reference Sharpe, is he playing better this year due to Billups or that he got a year of experience under his belt?

I don’t know how you make the judgment call of young guys not improving on such small sample size. Example Scoot and Camara.

It takes time, maybe you don’t think Billups is the coach and that’s ok.

Those guys are what they are because they are talented. They came into the league with these skills, aside from Ant. They aren't playing as better teammates.

Of course it will take time. To get wins. That doesn't mean the product on the floor needs to be so disorganized.

I'd like to see a better developmental coaching staff. There are proven developmental guys out there we could get. If this ownership group is actually interested in developing the team.

Id like to add that along with the continual increase in costs and decrease in quality entertainment, the service and options in the moda have deteriorated considerably as well. remember the club buffet?

remember the quality gifts we used to get? This season was a little fanny pack???

im on the fence as to renew or not as well and what burns me the most is they force us to decide before we know the direction of the team.
I renewed last year based on the team stating they would build around Dame. Then they traded him and it’s a shit show.
How do I know if I renew for next year, they don’t trade away scoot and sharpe or do whatever else to further minimize the entertainment value?

the fact we have to choose to renew or not before the trade deadline seems almost nefarious…

If they remind me I haven't picked up the "gift" one more time I may yell at them
