he is shooting a little better, but still only .423 for the year with 16.7 PER. not even close to all-star worthy.

Probably also why Lillard didn't make it in; very similar in both stats.

Lillard runs the team and averages 7 assist a game. No comparison. Crawford just chucks up shots.

Agreed that Lillard does So. Much. More. than Crawford, but his shooting percentages bugs me just a tiny bit. I'll get over it.

What I don't ubderstand is why he's making everything he throws up for the Clippers. He couldn't hit jack shit for us.

It's not like the shots he gets there are coming out of some miracle offense, it's the same iso crossover BS that we saw here.

He's only shooting 42% this season, and last year at the All-Star break, had a better PER and was shooting about the same as he is this season.

The only difference is he's taking more shots, getting some more minutes, and playing with two All-Stars instead of one, which usually means your team is doing well.

Or was it? Would Crawford take time or attention away from Damian Lillard? I think he would. As much as he would help this terrible bench; I think a player that needs the ball iso like Crawford would put a choke hold on our teams growth.

We have absolutely no need for a chucker like Crawful. You saw exactly why we DON"T want him on our team last night. There are capable bench scorers that we can get instead who don't need to dribble the ball for 20 seconds every possession.

He doesn't dribble for 20 seconds when CP3 is on the floor. Chris Paul has a way way of making a lot of players look like all stars. CP3 actually dribbles for about 15 second and then hits an open man. The clipper games I have been too this year Crawford did a lot of "catch and shoot" to go along with his Iso. I don't care what is shooting percentage is, he has hit a lot of big shots for them. Coming off the bench outside shooters are always going to be inconsistent. Clipper fans love him for good reason.

Crawford is the #2 scorer on a team that's 20 wins over .500. He's 3rd in the league in 4th quarter scoring. He's scoring 1 less point per game than all star Luol Deng, but in 10 less minutes per game. His 3pt shooting is fine at .377, but if a .422 FG pct should disqualify him, then what about all star Joakim Noah and his .457 at the C position?

His 16.6 PER not good enough? It's better than Deng's 15.2. Deng's WS/48 is .119, while Crawford's is .116.

Deng is a 2 time all star.

Why are you comparing him to Deng? Different positions and different conferences.. This year, in the western conference, Crawford has no business being in the all star conversation.
