I did an open mic a few weeks ago, and they called and want me to do a short set. Just wanted to share the good news

I sometimes daydream about trying an open mic, but I'm way too chickenshit.

Looks like a good reason to stop the meds.

I did stand-up comedy for a short time when I was 20-21. When you get going, it's great. But fuck man, I'd sometimes get nervous, and if I didn't get rolling, nerves would take over, and it'd go to shit. Alcohol beforehand always helped.

I have done quite a few open mic's it's terrifying
 
how do FAMS, Mrs. HCP, and homeless dudes translate from the written word?
 
As long as they're laughing at your jokes, not you (or not at all)..... You're doing something right.

well since you won't tell us, I'll guess that it involves the board being bipolar about winning and losing. Bendavis harassing a homeless guy. PapaG freaking out about someone posting a picture of a gun and using his name. And perhaps mixum/JLPRK. Oh and HCP being a nerd but acting like a bad ass on the internet.

To be fair, he's the one who said he has bits about people here that he uses onstage before I even posted in this thread. That kind of opened the floodgates, but I guess you're flexing your mod muscles tonight.

So, that post made it about all of us.

But again, I know you're just bored and flexing a bit, because you're factually wrong, since his post did make it about all of us.

Hope you had fun pulling out the posts between Zags and me, though. That was productive.
